When you remove the deck spray both sides of the PTO connection liberally with Fluid Film or the like. We use Fluid Film on PTO's before hookup and on disconnect. Never have any problems hooking up. Used to use a liberal dose of grease on PTO shafts and implement PTO's until we discovered Fluid Film a year ago. Did your BX come with a snap on cover for the Mid PTO? If so use it. If not check with your dealer, they are plastic and a few $$ but, will keep shaft and splines on PTO shaft clean.

Disconnecting and hooking up are two different things, two minutes to remove is not a problem. Two minutes to hook up for some might be pushing it but can be done.
Many are worried over leaving the deck on a BX while doing other work and we have people who do it all the time. The BX does have a lot of ground clearance compared to other make sub-compact tractors and they are built well and the deck often helps to protect the transmission cooling fan from damage.

Yup I love it. The questions I have now is the difficult of lowering the rear link to adjust for L pin. It wouldn't go lower and i have about two inches apart of hooking both together. I did everything by book with hydraulic control lever etc, nothing works in my favor to mount it back.

Bring the MMM lift lever to the highest position then turn the cut height knob to the lowest setting '1' then lower the lift lever and the arms will come down lower

The 3-point arms go all the way down when the MMM is mounted and the knob is set to "top" on my BX-2670. Once installed in the spring, it stays on until fall. As for taking it off and on, it's way to cumbersome for me to do in any short amount of time. Maybe 10 minutes to remove it. Something on the deck is always interfering with something on the tractor. Caster wheel and tractor tire, bracket on mower and something on tractor... it's just a really tight fit. It takes me 5 minutes just to remove and replace all the clips and pins to turn the casters!!!!

The ONLY way I can get the mid pto on is to remove a rear wheel. It's just too awkward a position for me to work. One hand to hold the collar back, one hand to feel for the shaft and line it up, one hand to push it on... wait, I ran out of hands!!!! I tried separating the shaft, but then I couldn't line up the splines on the shaft under the tractor and push it on. One hand to hold one end of the shaft, one hand to hold the other, two more hands to push the heavy deck, WAIT, I'm out of hands again!!! So, I take a rear wheel off, then it gets easy.

Practically the same thing I did and no avail. I felt that something jammed the arms from going lower because I was able to push it up just fine, but when trying to push it down, I felt something was stuck or so.

Sounds helpful, I hope this will do a trick for me.

There is no down force on the 3-point hitch. The arms will always be free to move up.

I would check to see if the stepped block that sets the height for the mower is working properly. Is it turning when you turn the knob? You will have to get a helper or maybe mark the block to tell if it is actually turning.

33, is the box blade hooked up to the 3pt, if so remove it. Turn the knob to "0" then lower the 3pt all the way. Can you physically pull the mmm arms down, there is no weight on them to help lower them.
