Had to think about this for a moment. Yep, FEL and silt scoop are the most different pieces of equipment that can possibly be.

Yep, we call them pond scoops in South Carolina. I bought a good one at a machinery auction.

That is a pond scoop, or at least that's what I've always known them by. Tractor Supply has plenty of them for sale, and I'm sure you can find them at your local tractor dealers too. You might also check out all the craigslist's for your general area.

Just Googled pond scoop, they are nothing like a silt scoop.

Sorry! What I have is like the picture BCP put up. Don't believe I've ever been face to scoop with a slit scoop.
