I enjoy it a lot. It has hauled a lot of wood and a lot of deer for me. Pretty handy little machine to have around for the most part. How do you like yours?

I like it real well. Only thing I don't like is how it starts. Not smooth like my Honda.

I agree Ive had it for a few years and that would be my one complaint as well. I couldn't justify the extra cost of the 500 just to get the fuel injection. Then I rode in my buddies xp this weekend and couldn't believe how much quieter it is. They all have their pros and cons I guess.

I was pulling a good sized ash tree the other day and had it looped up over the cross bar on the 3PH and down to the draw bar clevis. This way when I raised the 3PH it held the end of the log off the ground. Trouble was when I backed up to hitch onto it after I got the tree pulled down from where it was lodged the end was already up in the air and not thinking about it I hooked onto it really short. All seemed fine until I came to a hard turn in the trail. Before the 3/8 chain broke the thirty foot tree acted like a big lever trying to keep the tractor from turning. This is the result to my cat 2 cross bar.

You bent your 3 point draw bar, I've done the same in the past... It's why I now ALWAYS hook my chains so they pull from "closer to the end" of the draw bar and never in the middle...

It wasn't just pulling too hard on the middle of the cross bar it was the end of the log in contact with it having a thirty foot lever arm trying to bend the crossbar IN toward the tractor. I'm very lucky the chain broke before the force snapped a draft link out of the bottom casting.

A few weeks ago I hauled some Ash rounds out of the woods. I had to get the WD45 out to help the poor Kubota

I had the same problem with My Kawa Prairie - very cold blooded. Then the local mechanic open up the idle jets in the carb, and now it starts better and warms up faster.
