Eric hate to see those old bridges go. What do they replace them with?
Not certain if they will rebuild in stone, or resort to steel and concrete. In the short term there are going to be lots of road diversions in place. No doubt many drivers will be completely lost for the next year or two when their satellite navigation insists they should drive over the invisible bridge.
I remember, many years ago, when London bridge was replaced, all the stone pieces were sold to a rich guy in America. At the time many thought he was crazy (although it was a pretty bridge), but it looks like he made a profit out of it - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Bridge_(Lake_Havasu_City)
