28 here in sunny FL going to 49 But we have no snow in the forecast. Woke up made coffee, lit the fireplace, and sat down to read posts here to see how much I still love living here. Dog was barking in the middle of the night so I will go out and see if one of the goats kidded.

Good Morning. 0700, sunny, 32F with 78% humidity. Forecast high of 52F with no chance of rain today, and a low of 30F tonight. Another big white frost, but the wind isn't as bad as a couple of days ago. I think I may go out and "work" in the greenhouse this morning.

Well I've done it again. I managed to stay alive another year. This makes 55 trips around the sun for me. 10 more and I can start thinking about joining most of you guys in retirement.

Drew, I'm glad you found a good recliner. I know where you are coming from with the back pain. We have a love seat that everyone raves about how comfortable it is. I sit in it ten minutes and my back is screwed for the rest of the day. As crazy as it sounds, sleeping on the ground at my camp is the best thing I have found for it.

6 this morning and headed to 28 today. Winter Storm Watch for us. NWS says 2-4" locally 4-6". Our local weather guy won't even talk about Thursday night and Friday's storm. He just says it's coming and we're going to take it one storm at a time.

Wife was on FB yesterday and some had shared forecast that showed Nashville, Tennessee getting 30+" of snow over the next 10 days. Along with the mountains around Hazard, KY and London, KY get 3-4 feet.

Back to the grind today. No problems getting home yesterday. Probably going to start decrusting the chicken coops today. Also get hay out before the storms and get the grader blade on the other tractor.

Allergy test came back and I'm highly allergic to grasses. Doctor originally said no specialist but it came back high enough that I'm getting a specialist. Maybe I can get rid of the congestion I keep 366 days a year. Also sounds like I need a cabbed tractor to bale hay and bush hog in. What do ya'll think? I need help convincing wife.

Bird flu hitting way too close to home. That same company has turkey houses in this county.

If for two more days the models continue in their agreement western parts of NC up the I81 corridor and into DC and Pa will see a very large snow storm. Others to the east wet snow sleet and ice eventually all the way to the coast. This could and I say could be very damaging to the mid Atlantic

I was gonna ask you for a more accurate forecast than the blah-blah 6-10" Friday to Sat here in Ladysmith. I think I need to actually mount that snow plow onto old Trusty Rusty finally! Gosh I hope I can figure it out!

Morning all!

Happy & Blessed Birthday Larro!

Clear and 9 degrees this morning walking the dog. The heat pump came on this morning for only the 4th time this year. But my wood pile is rapidly dwindling. I've got tons of logs, just need time to cut and load and stack.

Yesterday for my workout I used the Fiskar axe on some oak & beech and the wind was brutal! Less wind today I think, that will be nice.

Good morning! At 44˚ heading to 66˚with lots of sun we have the same weather as Arizona today.
It lives! I ordered the 1947 Farmall tie rod parts from E-bay yesterday. I'll get it mowing by Spring again.
Our VFD will be getting new Scott air packs to experience the thrills of interior fire attack while listening to Glen Frey's " The Heat is On" through the blue tooth face mask, and tonight we get trained on high water rescue, fun fun.
