I found the limits of my loader

A 68 would be this body style... more rounded.


A 67 or older would be more of this body style... more square.


I think they stopped the 283 in 67 and went to the 307 in 68.

Anyhow, it doesn't matter to me.... I'd take either in a heartbeat!

And, there's been so many engine swaps it would be quite possible to have pretty much any engine in any year, too.

Thanks for the pics but I never really even looked the car over as cars that age don't interest me at all. I spent from 67 thru 71 outside this country and never got to know them as anything but used cars.

I'll just have to ask my brother tomorrow.

I didn't start driving until 1976, so they were all used to me, too. :laughing: I had a 70, 71, 62 (yes 1962), a 72 and a 73. I think the 71 was the four door. All had straight 6's. Most were $500.

My first car in1962 was a 31 Model A roadster ($60) which I drove to my HS graduation events . My first 'modern' car was bought in '66 for $200, a 59 Impala convertible. I still have the Model A. I had to sell the Chev when I went into the Army.
