Mahindra 3525
I'm trying to find the best place to buy parts for my 2006 Mahindra 3525. I just bought it and it needs a few parts but the shipping from most places is crazy expensive. The closest Mahindra dealer is about an hour drive away. Thanks in advance!

Either NEWENGLANDTRACTOR.COM, [ he advertises on this site ]OR BILLSTRACTOR.COM, among many others are online parts suppliers. You will find that most dealers, or even online parts dealers, all get their parts from the same place. If you want XYZ, they usually do not stock everything, and the order actually comes out of a big parts warehouse in Texas. So, your cost is just about the same no matter what. This is the same as most manufactures of tractors, cars&trucks, appliances, etc. Everything comes in via UPS/USPS/FEDEX/etc from some big depot in some far off place. The only decision you need to make is if you can relate over the internet or phone EXACTLY what you need, and hope they ship you that. Or drive to the dealer and hope he orders the right part. I've done both, and had zero problems. But the price including shipping, you are probably stuck with... Sorry....

Thanks JerryK!
I may call the dealer with the parts I need and price compare. One item I looked at online was like $4 with $16 shipping. That just doesn't make sense... Thanks Again!

I have ordered items from Bill's Tractor before too, but this last time I ordered from Johnson Automotive. The biggest reason was it was the only place I could find that actually had full microfiche parts diagrams with every item you could ever need for an OEM part. I had to replace my light switch and foot pedal covers on my 26XL since my German Shepherd pup likes to chew on things.:licking::mad: It did take about 10 days to receive the parts, probably because as stated above they probably order from a warehouse or something and then ship when they get it or drop ship to me. But I got my parts without a problem and I would order from them again, depending on what I needed.

Try to see what the dealer will charge to ship them to you after he gets them all together. Or make one trip for all of them. I know that I can drive about 160 miles on $16 (at about $2 a gallon right now) worth of gas, and that would only be the savings on one part. Enjoy your new machine.

I needed a cylinder repair kit for our 4025. I called the dealer and the price was almost $300. I found the part number, and did an online search, I found the rebuild kit for a little over $60 on eBay.

Good information, thanks so much. I have looked at both of those and they seem to be the main players. That full parts diagram at Johnson was a huge help!!!

A local hydraulic shop could have out the door half the cost of eBay.
Merry Christmas hugs, Brandi
