Yea that would be a nice upgrade for sure. I'll look into it, thanks.

Might make a HF run soon. Collected a bunch of coupons on my phone. Different ads with different prices for same item, all coupons still valid. One coupon says "lowest price", than found another coupon for less......

The silver/gray color one is the latest version (#60603). I swapped the hand jack with a HF pneumatic bottle jack that really makes it a pleasure to use! Just squeeze the trigger and you are bending.

Yep, I upgraded to the HF pneumatic jack too. Caught a good sale and got it for, as I recall, way less than $90. Much faster than the hand pump jack.

My press is also the gray welded one, that's only one my store was selling. I'm planning on building a base, with large casters to raise mine up about 12" for ease of use.

Yup HF is good for that...I noticed the other day that right now on the web site are two different coupons for the #60658 3/8 x 14ft grade 43 tow chain.

One is for $21.99 and the other is for $19.99 :confused2:

Except for items specifically excluded on the 20% off coupon (more every day), I find buying it on sale with 20% off generally beats any coupon price.

So does anyone know the reason that they have items with two different part numbers but all the specifications are the same along with the prices? I was looking at getting a couple of cheap tool chests to make a work bench out of, specifically looking at the 44" 13 drawer us general boxes they list 2 for the same price but different numbers and i can not find anywhere it lists a difference in them.

I was told by the manager once that was because they had two different vendors.

This sounds right. Enables them to hold one vendor accountable if their stuff is crappier than the other vendor.

On some of their smaller items (e.g., voltmeters) they have 4 or 5 different SKUs.
