Just curious how the ecr40d has been for you now that you've had a couple years with it? Likes, dislikes? Fuel consumption per hour? I bought a new ec60e bout 2 years ago, I've got about 750 hrs on it now and really like it, no issues to speak of. Thanks

just ran across this and sounds like a great deal for you, I have to say the Volvo Excavators are very good machines from waht i know of them i have rented and ran one for a solid week - it was a tl250, i tore down a log house that has partially burned ( my neighbor next door ) i was very sad to see it leave, it was SOOOOOO powerful it was scary, you could run it with precision on the hydraulics like nothing i have ever used, the engine was so darn quiet it was crazy, i rented it i february and ran it with the canopy open or wth the heat going, one day it got up to 65 and with the door open it was too dusty so i ran the A/C lol. I ran with the radio going and doors open and didnt have to turn up the radio up just 1/3 volume. I think it weighed round 55K lbs. It had a thumb for the debris and my only complaint was i would crush things when squeezing and then have to pick them back up ha!!
You had to be careful with it, it was more machine than i needed at times but i needed it for boom length/reach and lifting more than anything
You will love it and volvo is WELL known for their excavators if you every need to sell it
