GC1700 series OEM pallet forks?

Browsing the AGCO parts book it appears there is a set of OEM pallet forks for the GC series tractor, one for skid steer attachment and one for pin type. Has anyone here ordered either of these? Any feedback would be appreciated!

I asked my dealer when I purchased mine and he didn't have much to say about it. Of course I was looking for quick attach capabilities. I went with MASSEY TACH-N-GO I like this setup a lot. Its very easy to install your self. It comes very well packaged. I can change bucket to forks in just a few simple minutes. Its a bit pricey but worth it

I looked at that option and its very attractive (build quality and weight). However its pricey and the forks dont appear to be adjustable.

The forks are not adjustable but given the size of the forks they don't need to be adjustable. I haven't found a pallet they won't fit in. We have had many since we just built a house and pole barn. Just out of curiosity why are you needing them to be adjustable? Im not sure there is anything to gain from them being adjustable. Its such a small machine.

Yeah it should fit almost every pallet I would come across, but I would use them for other things like brush clearing and popping out shrubs/bushes. In that case I would like to have the forks close together in the center to get at the root ball.

What is the cost for those forks? I was thinking of not getting the quick attach and just pinning the forks or bucket on. I was gonna use a furniture mover with wheels so i could easily move it where it would need to be and then try adjusting height when the loader joystick. Probably wouldn't be too bad. Especially since the fork or bucket aren't to heavy.

I can tell you that the solid forks coming from tach-n-go are excellent. They also have some adjustable forks. . It you need to recognize that adjustable forks aren't as strong now are they firmly positioned.

I use my tach-n-go forks very often . . . Like yesterday and today for hauling brush in big quantities. Then when you get to the trailer, you can push the pile down with the fixed ones. Also the fixed version gives you lots of place to attach rope or chains or bungee cords for you-name-it hauling.

The weight of tach-n-go forks is low but the strength is equal to anything your loader can lift. In addition, my forks can also be used on the 3 pt

One other point to make. With a quick attach I get far greater use of my fel/implements. I've done pin on originally before the q. a. was created. It's not a 1 minute effort by any means. So I have my fel on and I would never cut my lawn with it on with bucket or forks (absolutely not on the slopes for sure). Yet if there is a flat area of lawn to cut quickly. . . I drop the bucket and it's 155 pound weight and cut with the arms and q. a. on only. I jump from implement to implement very frequently with the forks being used for many more things than the bucket.

Quite honestly I don't like the skid steer type q. a. Choices because of size and visibility but tach-n-go makes one of those too now as I recall. I still like the patented design best. Jmho
