B2650 dual rear remotes.

Hey there, I'm a long time lurker who is soon to join the happy crowd of orange toy owners. I have a B2650 being put together right now, and I was planning on getting 2 rear remotes. The dealer had showed me a parts diagram that was a nice elegant solution with levers coming up through the fender cutouts. But yesterday they sent me a pic of my tractor with a clunky disaster hanging off the side of the ROPS. Apparently they made a mistake and said that this was the only factory option for the B2650. I told them to forget about the remotes and I'd do something later on.

I'm seeing folks putting together very nice solutions, notably RKIDD! I haven't figured out this whole forum business yet, so i'm not sure how to get his attention, but hopefully he'll see this. RKIDD- it sounds like you may have sold this setup to other people's B2650s. Is that the case? Would you be willing to put together the parts package for me? I might still prefer to run the levers through the fenders, but I could probably make those bends if I just had the stock.

Hi VTDonn. As you said the factory option in my opinion is ugly and unacceptable. The set up I installed has been on for a while and has worked very well. The build has been well documented on the other OTT forum with another member just completing his build with a couple slight variations, following what I did, and you should find all of the part numbers you need. I did do my neighbors tractor as he had a B2650 also, but have not done any for any body else, as there is a lot of fab work and you need the tractor to do it. Not trying to run people off of this site, but check that one for the build, and if you have any more questions, I would be glad to help.

Do you remember the thread where we talked back and forth and I posted all my pictures too?

Hey Dan. How are you? Yes I sure do remember the thread, but I was assuming, and maybe wrongly so, the OP had already read the thread, as he responded to it. If he has not, it is surely the place to start for sure! I was just giving him options for more information. Hope you are doing well.

Thank you all so much. I appreciate the heads up on OTT!

I remember someone installing a factory rear remote control valve on a B2650 and it looked like the same rear remote system I installed on my B2601, the differences were the handles that come up through the console and the mounting of the QC couplers at the rear. I bet you could just buy the rear remote kit for the cab model B2650 and modify the levers where the come up through the R/H console if needed. Also I remember that both control valves (one with float, one without) were the same as my B2601 plus it fit other Kubotas including the B3030 as well.

Here is a picture of the control valves installed in my Kubota.

Wow that looks terrific. Are you saying that is the factory kit that Kubota sells for the B2601? If so, that looks like a great solution. Can anyone with a B2650 ROPS see anything in that photo that would conflict with what they know of their rig? I suppose I'll be able to see for myself when I pick it up this weekend....:)

Yes that picture is the factory set up for the B2601. I wish I could find the article complete with pictures on how to install the OEM dual rear remotes on the B2650 but no luck. I am guessing it was at OrangeTractorTalks website but I do remember that the remote stackable valves had the same part number as the B2601.

I copied Kubota's part #U94301 diagram to my file but for some reason I can not post it here. It shows exactly how the valves etc. mount up. You can access it your self by going to Kubota or Messick's and seeing for your self. Just type B2650 in the model search box then select PARTS diagrams then select B2650HSDC.

Oh, ok the file did post. Anyway I do not see why dealers are having a hard time giving you what you want.
Also I can't believe how expensive Messick's is, maybe contact them because I got everything I needed through my dealer a whole lot cheaper.
