JD Front wheel seal leak

I have a JD 790 with a front wheel oil seal leak. Can I remove the whole wheel assembly and take it to a local dealer and have them change out the seal? Thank Craig

We had same on our kubota. Put in some ATP AT-205 Re-Seal Stop leak over 2 years ago. So far, so good.
Could not find it in our local auto parts store. Ordered it from SummitRacing.com
I think we learned about it here on TractorByNet.

nckennedy, I believe if you are mechanically inclined enough to remove the front axle, you are competent enough to replace the seals yourself. Particularly with the help of the manual offered by joecdeere. I would also replace the seal on the other side while you were at it.
