Am I weird... (probably) peanut butter

Back to the original question about the smell of peanut butter when cleaning the utensil... I'm the same way. If I wash the spoon or knife with warm water, the peanut butter smells almost rancid to me.
My favorite PB sandwich is PB and Honey. My son has always favored PB and Cheese.

Yea, the thing is, I have only noticed the odor in the last year or so, or the fact hat it turns my stomach while washing it, in any case

Peanut butter with raisons and mayo. Sounds awful but the combo works. I put mayo one must of all my sandwiches. My daughter when she was young would just eat a mayo sandwich. Has to be dukes.

Maybe it's just an aversion to washing dishes?

I use a plastic knife to spread PB, then throw it away.

I love peanut butter, especially on celery sticks.

Recently I notice I detest the odor of the peanut butter as I clean the utensil.

Anyone else ever notice that?

Love peanut butter, celery, crackers, bread and jam, a spoonful, "ants on a log". Though I haven't noticed it when washing the knife, I have noticed that the peanut butter doesn't last as long. Used to be you found a jar and regardless of age it was still edible, now seems like you have a couple weeks after opening. HFC in everything (ruined tomato soup for me), cheaper oils in peanut butter, corn in the gas, whats next...... Though I think it may also have to do with Jiffy being called Jif in this splinter. ( I am going to follow up on this peanut butter experiment, might have to go back to grinding my own, better anyway)

I only like Peter Pan crunchy.....
I accidentally purchased a jar of smooth, and am having trouble using it up, we will see if it spoils before I do

Well since peanuts are poison to me, as you can imagine, I don't like the smell of peanut butter. I find it very offensive. That doesn't keep the wife from eating it. I am very sensitive to all things peanut. I can tell you if a potato chip has been cooked in peanut oil.
