I can just hear the hickory nuts falling from the tree, 75 feet up, and falling and gaining speed until it hits a 250 gallon propane tank that's sitting underneath it. Wow! Thought the tank had exploded. So, I moved the tank.
Tedious but my Stihl BR600 blower will move them. It helps if the grass is shorter. I was only moving them up to about 15 feet towards my fence line to get them off of the pasture.
One would have thought that the area would be overrun with squirrels who thought that they had died and gone to heaven but they just laid there to decompose if I did not blow them away from the fence.
A pig or two works great depending on the acreage. They taste better than corn fed hogs.
I also have the BR600,, it moves the nuts where the grass is short,,
I just read about the NEW BR800,,, I think it was Consumer Reports,,
They said the BR800 would blow a 4.6 pound brick across a concrete driveway, effortlessly,,, :dance1:
Is HD, Home Depot?I would try a HD lawn sweep. Might even remove the bag part of an old sweep, and mount the sweep on the front edge of a FEL bucket so it loads directly into the bucket.
I wish someone would invent a backpack blower that was also a vacuum.I also have a BR600, my back/shoulders hurt even more thinking about an 800
The BR600 is pretty powerful though.
