I would like to make butter but with just the two of us in the house these days it just would not be worth it. But really enjoy you guys discussing it, brings back memories.

What does only having two in the house have to do with it??

We seldom use butter. That block you showed would last years.

Seems with only two, it would make more sense since it would last longer. In my case, it would be three, since one of the cats is a butter licker!

I tried some Nucoa fake butter years ago 40-50's I believe you had to mix in a yellow coloring with it . . . never again.

I've never tried to make butter, but ever since they took honey roasted peanut butter off the shelves I've made my own. Made a fresh batch this morning!

I jar of nuts = 1 jar of peanut butter

I'll pass, my wife buys that all natural peanut butter yuck but I do like her homemade jelly. I'll sneak in a jar of Skippy now and then, once in awhile I like a PBMJ, on bread with NO NUTS or SEEDS thankyou very much, she likes that to............
