Anyone care to speculate on the number of firearms that get "pocketed" by LEOs when they get the opportunity during busts of weapons caches...??

I know this didn't happen much in the Baltimore police department, as i had a friend in the department, a friend that we could talk about anything. And he said "throwdowns" just don't happen. There is too much that could come back, and they could lose their entire career over it.

"Throwdowns" can be had easily via the street...it is the collectable guns (that come from thefts etc.) that get "lifted"...
When it comes to illegal activity by LEOs...I think all cops should have to take lie detector (voice stress) testing on a regular basis...

Thinking about it more and looking at some pictures, I think it was Lyman sights on both ends.

I think mine are Lymans also, I haven't gotten that one out of storage since the move.

Yeah, I held that wall for over 30 years, rarely would we find a thief amongst us and they would be prosecuted to the fullest extent. It was rare, almost non existent. Get a few too many DUI's?

None...nothing personal against cops...I know and have known enough to know what goes on...
Cops are no different than anyone else...
Actually it's a bit unnerving to think some believe the integrity of LEOs is higher than that of judges and journalists etc...but in 2016 we all found out what a fallacy that was...

Oh and BTW...back when we were under age and having parties...the cops would often leave us be but they would take all our beer...what do you think they did wit it ?...LoL...!

It's usually the type of guy that is a bit dirty or compromised that thinks everyone else is also. We dumped that cheap swill in the storm drain behind the station.
