Update: I took those mystery 6mm cartridge cases and attempted to resize them to 308, but I couldnt move the shoulder back. The press would cam over before moving the shoulder all the way. So I annealed them.

I used a once fired 308 unsized cartridge case to zero my calipers.

I ran the 6mm brass through my die after lubing inside the case mouth with paste lube.
I got the shoulder to bump back .0015"

Here is progression. On the right is annealed 6mm (looks burnt because of the case lube), middle is the 6mm resized, and the once fired 308. Using my eyeballs, it looks like the shoulder needs to come down more. But the datum line is right in the correct spot. My LE Wilson gauge says they will chamber.

Only had one 'oops.' The case split while necking it out. This is probably because the wheel on my annealer started to slip. I noticed it on the last piece, which is probably this one. Too soft on one side.

Now I just need to trim them to length. I'll do that out in the shop with the drill press and the RCBS 3-way cutter. That way the brass mess will be out there. Thats quite a bit of brass to trim down.

These are extras, and probably wont be used for anything other than plinking or barrel break in processes. It may be a while before I even load them. I got to load up several 6.5C for Boomershoot! coming up. Time to start working on those.

Got a new kydex, light bearing, holster from Craft holsters for my CZ P-01 with the Olight Baldr S. Very nicely made, great retention, but it is the most uncomfortable IWB holster ever. Not sure why it has a Falco sticker on it. I guess Craft Holsters and Falco are related somehow. I prefer my hybrid holster from Raw Dog Tactical much better, but they don't make a light bearing one. I guess I have to wear the new one for a while to see if I get used to it and what position feels the most comfortable.

But on the bright side, Ruger is releasing the 336 in 30-30 and 35 rem as well as the 1894 in 44 mag only (for now) ....

I ended up liking my POF Revolution .308 so much, I ended up buying its baby brother, the POF Renegade in .223

They're both quality built rifles. I hunted hogs with the .308 this past weekend and ended up shooting 7 hogs. Two of the hogs were shot at night over feed with a thermal, the other 5 I shot walking around spot/stalk. Spot and Stalk with an AR-308 is something I would have never considered before I bought the Revolution, due to the heft of most AR-308 rifles. That's not the case with the Revolution, starting bare under 7 lbs.

Saturday the inlaws came over to try out some pistols to get an idea of what they would like for an EDC. Not pictured is a S&W Bodyguard 380 that failed with light primer strikes again after being sent to S&W for the issue. Second pic is the light primer strike 380 rounds.View attachment 780348View attachment 780350
That Beretta .22 pistol I believe is a model 71 from what I can see in this picture.

I need to mill the edge of the slide on my 50 DE and my Kimber as it cuts my hand when I rack them. Little radius.
