I never really “got” the PeeWee Herman thing, but a whole generation of kids just a year or two younger than me adored his show and movie.

I will admit his platform shoe dance scene was pretty damn funny.

if that is true, it is a sad commentary on modern society. When I hear Bob Barker I think lecherous carnival huckster who made a fortune with no meaningful skills. Good for him, I guess, but hardly someone to emulate.

Not sure it matters, but I liked Betty a heck of a lot more than Bob. What a funny and classy lady.
