no snow on the eufy camera, just must not like the cold
it's eight feet up and I'm sure not dragging a ladder out there
what I did find was the cover had blown off the generator in the snowstorm and that was covered in
snow. Cleaned that off and ran the gen for a few minutes, then put cover back on.
Need to find a flower pot or something to put on top.

then I walked out to get the mail and saw the flag out front was in the front garden bushes.
Must have been windier than I thought.
I got thoroughly chilled and was happy to get back inside.

colder time locally
Delaware River can get full of ice, second pic is looking over at Trenton NJ
Ken, is this Yardley pond?
might take a ride down there and see if any folks on it.
grew up ice skating on the canal below New Hope where you knew how
far you had gone by counting the red wooden foot bridges you went under.
Our family's farm went right down to the River so I always felt connected to it.
and always happy to live far above it.

what gets very bad is when you have lots of rain and ice melt on top of a frozen river and all this
surface ice, which is pretty rough stuff, now comes crashing on shore heading South and busts up all the trees
and your house if too close.

Lake Afton in Yardley the top photo. My wife skated there as a kid. Friends live right down the block. Go to Cramers bakery every now and then right across from the lake in down town Yardley.

Many of the canal bridges have been rebuilt, but a few got replaced with modern bridges due to cost. Still the same count though :)

Good Evening,
I got thoroughly chilled and was happy to get back inside.
Drew, I did a 3 mile walk in the wind and cold today and I was pretty cold by the time I got back to the house ! That wind sure makes it feel colder ! Never got out of the 20’s today! 😉

24.2 for high today 21.4 now wind chill 17 degrees. I’m going to have to try and get out tomorrow food getting short. If I had one of our torches I would be gold. I’ve seen the cove at SML at R22 freeze completely over years ago 1960s to be exact long time ago now

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 15.9C and it's presently 22.9C, mostly cloudy with a wee breeze.

Yesterday I first made a 'tip run' followed by groceries... despite having a list I forgot to get sour cream so, seeing as I was dressed (not in my comfy trackie-daks) I went back and got that.

Today I may get my Mate to venture onto the roof for my annual chimney/flue sweeping. Rain is 'sort of' predicted for tomorrow; definitely happening Sat/Sun.

Just hanging out today although the PO has emailed me saying that I have mail... I'll pop into town as it could be my government pension concession card!

That's about it, take care all.

Good evening all. 21ºF for the start, mostly clear, light breeze. Light wind, clouds built up later in the day, and high temp was 40ºF. Made coffee to start day, Men's meeting, clean ash from insert, stoke the fire, refill wheel barrow and wood wagon. trip to town to get kerosene, lunch and get details on dealer wanting to buy SUV. They really did want to buy it, agreed on price, came home to clean out and stationary bike ride, to late to finish deal today, tomorrow if roads not bad or Friday. Good dinner with group.
PJ sorry about no mail, wonder when your road will get plowed?
Buppies that is a long with no power. Glad gas logs work with no power. Prayers sent.
Buppies it was a big improvement over the 8N with no loader.
David the though of the difference of a tart and a tart did cross my mind as well.
David good to hear mowing progress continues. Hope you are not as far behind as you were.
Ron sorry to hear neighbor fell from his wheel chair. Glad you could help get him back to his bed. Good to hear getting exercise in, sorry not much chance of seat time. Not much chance of outside bike riding Friday or Saturday. Nice woodpecker pic.
David hopefully the insulation work you have done will help a little with the cold spots. Hope the wind reduction helps also. Glad brother checked on your Dad.
Drew good morning, can I be a functioning adult without growing up ? Our fore cast here is for close to 7 inches of snow.
Bill glad you found your keys, I hate it when I do that.Hope town run went well.
Dennis have not lost a sibling yet. My condolences on your sister.
Dennis 10 mph sounds better than 18 mph.
Billy sorry no mail. Glad you got help to move the snow and ice plowed into your driveway. Glad you didn't lose power.
Billy nice pics, hope Della enjoyed the getting out as much as you did.
Frits sorry about the fall, glad no serious injury. Good to hear you have ice cleats to help with getting around. Sorry about heater, you might check to see if there is a valve to shut off coolant flow when heater not in use. The valve will likely plug before the heater core.
NHBX glad you can have breakfast with your remaining sister.
Phil sorry they are slow getting back to you on wrecked car. Glad your wife's sister got herself squared away on Medicare. Nice walnut box. Hope the apple vase turns out. Sorry dales have slowed at store.
Spike56 thanks for info and pic of F-35.
Happy(NC) hope you enjoy your snow, Glad dog got his exercise, Hope you make keep or throw away. M track record is I throw stuff away 2 months before I need it. If I don't throw away the I don't ever need it :(.
Thomas hope you get enough snow to recharge the creeks and springs.
Thomas hope puttering went well.
Mike hope you got your chainsaw work done, sorry branches didn't cooperate. Sorry about RTV stuck. Sorry to hear your roads not so good. Roads here bound to get bad because they don't get a lot of experience with snow/ice.
Don glad you are not getting snow, probably not much snow control for the roads. Good to hear pool guy fixed you leaky plug. Seams like my live oak loses leaves in fall and spring. I understand about having a gym that close, makes it harder to turn on the heater on your hot tub. Does your wife video classes on plant based whole eating?
Bill good suggestions for Frits, also have have valve that turns off coolant to heater core get plugged.
Buppies good luck with ice sheet on drive way.
Ken glad not too much snow.
Paul Glad breakfast was good sorry no heated gloves for wife. Hope hole drilling goes well lot holes in 3/4 steel and no indexable carbide drill :( . Hope trainer can work through Zoe's distraction issues. Sorry about puppy chewing up charger, could you fix her up with one? Hope not too many wild cards dealt.
Pearson welcome to GM thread.
Buppies sounds like quite the mailbox. Shame you didn't keep it.
David sorry starting day with dentist. Hope you can get back on mowing.
Buppies ashes from fireplace do wonders with ice, less damage to grass than salt.
Dennis sure seems like with all the work put into geo units they should keep up better. Sorry too cold to shut down pellet stove for maintenance. Sorry son had long walk in cold. Glad you are getting ahead of class you are teaching.
Drew glad you got solar panel for maintain RV battery cleared. Hope the panel was easy to clear.
Frits sorry truck needed a boost to start. Glad lithium jump starter not needed and new batteries in truck. Glad alternator fixed in van.Hope interior light issue goes quickly.
