I have Aircraft Carrier sized feet... size 14.5 US...
Not much of a betting man here, but I'd put some depleted Canuck bux on you having to mod many shift linkages (esp. wearing HD boots...).

Yes Sir... it's a challenge sometimes. Also, just finding gear that fits can be a problem. Fortuately, Alpinestars and Klim gear fits me well. I have to re-do all suspension set up on new bikes to accommodate my weight as well. But, it works...

I have some larger pegs for my KLX... haven't been spending enough time off-road to grow weary of the stock ones yet, so haven't changed. I'm about at 10 boot (US), so fortunately there is a well-liked longer shifter off a larger Honda (same spline) that most people really like. Just a coupla bolts..... just need a RoundTuit !

Last year was my final year for riding. I'm just a lot more comfortable on four wheels.

Biggest concern I've ever had - sand at highway intersections. I would ride before the highway depts would brush the sand off the intersections. Just gotta be very careful.

Same here! Gonna put my little Yamaha XT-225 up for sale as soon as it warms up. Getting way too clumsy to be riding on two wheels. Used to be if I crashed I'd just jump up, pick up the bike, and keep on going. Doubt I could do that anymore. If my old bones hit the ground these days they are not going to bend and bounce, they're gonna break.

Count me in as one of those wanna-be's. Doc took away my riding days with the verdict 'heart problems with Warfin on the menu'. His/their verdict - Any minor scrape, cuts, or breaks would surely result in bleeding to death before medics could arrive.
That, however doesn't stop me from drooling, oohing, and yes, even often reminising of the many wonder days of riding. In short, there's nothing like face-in-the-wind days of motoring on 2-wheels. For those that are still riding, relish every minute you can. The great life isn't forever.

Words to Ride By, was my first thought reading that ^; but it's really more Live By....

Tech can solve some of this..... as I sit here looking @ ridiculous amounts of snow, clicking on a long-ride video, while not as good as riding, gives me a slice of gyroscopic chill-time.

I likely posted here, last year, about the elderly couple who a 'Wing for sale, out front of their house I often bicycle past. Had a good chat with them; they had many tales of all the miles they put on that well taken for 'Wing. He still looked very fit for his age, but had decided to go 3 wheels..... at their invitation, I spent a bit of time in their garage, drooling over their recently acquired, only a few years old, 'Wing trike.

3Wing - Not an inexpensive option, but she quoted her ScottishCanadian mother "There are no pockets in funeral shrouds".

Running out of money would be no fun, but bucket-list things should not be forgotten either.....

Back to fighting snow.....

I'm 77 and I know I'm approaching the time I will need to give it up too. I'm going sledding this morning and realize I've lost some of the few skills I acquired. The boss is pushing me to give it up. I don't get out on my dirt bike anywhere near as often as I'd like, but those skills are starting to leave me as well. I still feel totally competent on one of my road bikes and hope to continue a few more years. I'm being encouraged to consider getting a trike but have been resisting as I think their prices are absolutely stupid. I realize how lucky I am as lots of the guys have ridden with were forced to quit or aren't with us anymore.

I know some older riders move from motorcycle to trike and enjoy them. I suppose if they are used to riding large, heavy, bikes like Wings or dressers, 2-up, yet are struggling to hold the bike up at a stop, but they still want to be on a Wing or dresser, a 3-wheeled version of the same bike lets them continue.

But other than parking lot fall overs from being harder to hold it up, I don't see how they would be any safer than a motorcycle? Plus you're still out in the heat, cold, rain, dust, only w/o the fun of leaning, which is what motorcycles are all about in the first place.
