Ct, 54 to start going to 69 with rain coming in later.

Worked 4 hours yesterday and will do the same today , then head to Vt and spend a few days up there, hoping somehow that rain won’t be too bad

though decided a mug of hot tea this afternoon would hit the spot.
did get the house cleaned up, found some nasty cobwebs in the guest bedroom.
I need to have a cleaning lady come in once or twice a year, not every week or two.
so it was me and a couple microfiber towels and a can of Pledge, not exciting duty.

keeping an eagle eye out for squirrels, who about every hour try to get to the seed.
I've nailed a couple of them but one turned around and wiggled its tail at me and then sauntered off.
now that squirrel deserves more than a bb to the butt...

Made a sams club run in the rain, after a stop at mission bbq for lunch.... Got my priorities straight.
My tractors and Lawn mowers can't read a calendar so I change by the hour meter.
When I got home from my mission, i took a wadded up paper bag, stuck it under the stuff in the fire pit and lit with the torch. bag burned but the soaked wood did not catch, so will try another day, didn't want to stand in the rain trying again.
paid a couple bills. rain has slowed, 1.8" since yesterday.

We made a Costco run in the rain...plenty of other folks had the same idea, but everything moved smoothly...skipped lunch this time, but just about ate enough free samples to make up for it. Needed to make a business stop, too. Gas $2.84.

Costco gas was $3.37 in Houston today.

I stopped at costco to get a couple things that sams didn't have, but after circling parking area a couple times I left. Gas 2.93 at Costco here, I got it at sams for the same.

Yesterday went very well. This arvo will involve some 'tractor fun' with chain-harrowing Paddock #1.

59°F and cloudy this morning, got up to 74° today. Stayed cloudy all day and looked like it might rain any minute, but never did.

One more day of work this week, then I'm out of the office Friday for an annual golf tournament put on by our staffing firm. Was a great time last year, and looking forward to it again.

Thanks, Drew. Not a lot of buttons on things anymore. Everything is digital touch screens now, which is even worse. Layers and layers of menus.
