Where do you park/store your tractor?

When not in use, I park my tractor in a carport with a gravel floor. It's a Kubota B2320 that I bought new in 2014. I am starting to notice quite a bit of rust on the tractor and am wondering if this is normal for being storing on a dirt floor, or has Kubota paint quality gone downhill.

Would love to hear how you all store your tractors and your issues & solutions to rusting or preventing rust.

Tractors do rust over time as paint quality is not on par for cars & trucks,but they rust too,You realize that your tractor is 11 years old and stored outside during that time?

I am still getting the house built and have not started on the shop/barn yet, so mine sits out in the weather. It has a nice old patina, no visible rust and always starts up when needed. It is a 1963 International B414

I could probably fit my 1958 Ferguson TO-35 with brush hog on it in my PB, but at times it would be in the way.

It's tough, I finally put a partial tarp over it to protect the aftermarket seat. Every spring I install the battery and it starts right up.

Most of the paint on the loader frame peeled off after the first winter.

My L3400DT is a 2004 year model. It has mostly been parked under a cover or inside. Top of both rear fenders have terrible rust, to the point I am going to cut it out and get a piece of sheet metal and try and weld in. My opinion is the use cheap everything and it shows

I know that story. They chewed just at the harness. Dash light were all going crazy. We hand wrapped each wire and still working. I keep the hood up when I park now. Kubota B3200.

I've been told that the issue is that these days they make the insulation from soybeans instead of petroleum. The mice consider it food.

I keep my MX5400 in 40' high cube shipping container. Water tight and NO MICE!

1960 Ford 960 row crop in dirt floor machine shed occasionally outside when machine shed is full with something else. No rust to speak of. 1963 Oliver 1800 been parked outside as long as I've had it. Probably a barn or shed it's entire life! Again no rust. Must be a new tractor thing !!

I wish I could do that here, those containers might be water tight, but in my area they sweat and rain inside!

My simple lean to with open front and concrete floor has kept my dk45 looking new for a long time.
