Kubota M7060 or Deere 5075e

Hi everyone. I hope you're having a nice fall.
I'm looking at replacing my tractor as mine is rops and I need a cab.
I have a 2020 Kubota m7060,mfwd, and 12/12 transmission. It's a nice tractor. I do have a couple of issues with it, besides being rops.
It struggles to lift heavy round bales, hydraulic pressure is at ,2850 and loader is in the power hole. The tractor also has a rumble in 4x4, dealer says it's fine... When it's really cold out, I mean well below freezing. When you start the tractor the PTO will spin on its own with significant force that you can't stop it. Kubota knew of the problem but had no idea on how to fix it or the desire too. After three years and some escalating, the finally replaced the PTO clutch. No clue if it works yet as it's not cold enough out to duplicate.
So I'm looking at getting either a new 7060 with can and maybe the m32 loader as I think it handles more. Or maybe a Deere 5075e.
I find the Deere has better lift capacity and a more spacious cab. It is a 2022 with 150 hours, so used. But the Deere is a little cheaper to buy, but not much. It's more down to quality and ability.
I'm not interested in NH, or Mahindra. Case is too expensive typically. The Massey 4707 is nice but too expensive as well, but is a nice tractor.

I wanted to get some user feedback on the Deere 5075e and other thoughts on the Kubota. Pros/cons.
I use it to move round bales, push manure, clear snow, and some light field work. Might make hay in a small field again one day.

I assume from the M32 loader means you are in Canada. Keep in mind the M7060 in Canada comes on the really nice Metric R1W radials and the 5075E has bias ply.

I have a 2024 12 speed M7060 cab with L1154E loader. I went 1154 over the M32 since I also have an 1153 loader on my open tractor that does everything fine and dealer had it on hand (less $$ then M32 too) Dealer did say M32 would lift more but was a lot more money. I've got a year of use on it on all farm work and no complaints.

Cab is big enough for me on the M7060, and unless you want a buddy seat it fits one person fine.

I've had no issues with PTO so I can't comment.

I won't knock the E series too much as I almost bought one years ago. At least here orange is better tractor for less money and Japan built versus made in India final assembled in USA.

I make round bale haylage (4x4) plus buy 4x5 hay/straw as needed. The 1154 picks up everything easily. I only use power hole anyways, height hole has been used loading a lime spreader and it lifts a bucket of wet ag lime no issue in "height" 500kg fertilizer bags at height no issue.

Combo had the power to dig this out of the ground and lift it enough to move it off the field. I did not attempt to lift it more than a few inches off the ground for obvious reasons. Farm tractor not industrial loader.

Yeah. Canadian Eh.
The 1154 does well in many circumstances but the 5x6 bales I have here are about 2000lbs, guestimate.
Nice pics, that's a good size rock. Haven't moved one quite that size yet.
I've had a couple of issues with the tractor. But I'm sure I'll have some with Deere as well.
When looking at specs the Deere 520m and Kubota m32 are close to capacities.

Ive read some have some electrical issues and cold start issues with the Deere .

My Kubota dealer says he's looked at the 5075e and the m7060 is much more tractor. The Deere e series is economic model and that it's not as smooth to drive or shift. not as refined.

And some have issues getting dual function on the loader to work smoothly where the Kubota 1154 is flawless in that regard, not sure about the m32 though.

And you're right about the tires. The new Kubota's have radial front and rear l, my existing is bias rear and radial front.
I believe the Deere I'm looking at is bias front and rear.

Are you saying the front end loader doesn't have the power to lift a 2000 lb bale? I've owned a M7060 HDC12 for several years now (mine is a 2016) and mine has absolutely no trouble lifting 2000 lb pallets of pellets. The problem is - the back of the tractor is too light (no cast iron wheels, no liquid ballast in the tires) so if I try lifting one of those 2000 lb pallets without my 6' rotary cutter on the 3 point hitch I simply raise the rear of the tractor off the ground. But the front end loader (with forks) lifts the pallets easily once the back of the tractor has some ballast hanging back there.

Correct. Mine won't lift the bales. I have cast wheels, rim guard ballast, and a blade on the back. The back end doesn't budge. But the loader has issues attempting to lift the bale. I've lifted many heavy things but these bales are proving to be too much for it. And I checked hydraulic pressure and it's about 2850.
I haven't weighed these bales. I'm guessing they are 2000 as the previous were about 1700 and it lifted those no issue.

Interesting how you lift the 2000lb pallets with ease. How deep are the pallets as the bales are 5'. Once I manage to finess the loader to curl then it will lift, but barely. To get it to curl I have to curl and lower the boom at the same time to force the bale back with gravity and downward pressure. this pulls the ballet back to reduce overhanging weight.

I could use one of those 6' rotary cutters, maybe one day. But one expense at a time.

I'm guessing at the bale weight. Now I'm wondering if there over 2000 and maybe closer to 2400.
I might have to try and get one weighed

The pallets are the standard 40" x 48" - I have 48" forks on the loader and they match the pallets perfectly. Each pallet is 50 each 40lb bags - so 2000 lb + the weight of the pallet/packaging. So I suspect that yes, your bales are heavier than you thought. Don't have the manual for the loader here with me but if memory serves me correctly the loader is listed at about 2400 lb lifting capacity.

What made you chose the Kubota over the Deere. Even though they are made in India, I here the newer ones have better build quality.
