Eddie, I have the same concerns. I bought this one because it has an open diff, my yerf dog is a solid axle and it tears up the grass when I turn. I'm hoping that the controls are not in the way, if they are, everything is operated by cables, so they can be moved, I don't want to but we'll see.
David, keeping things stock isn't all bad, its definitely easier to obtain parts. I had a Dad that built stock cars and street rods, he taught me how to arc weld and gas weld when I was about 8 years old! I started building chopper bicycles way back in the early 70s and its never quit.
I do build vehicles, but I have more fun with the (Toys).
I built these last week. Its just me, I can't leave anything alone! Lol.

I think i have the skill, as i rebuild and restore alot of stuff. But i certainly do not have his perseverance. Id have put this on the back burner long ago, and have moved onto something easier. I only wish i had his drive to continue. Im getting alot lazier as i age.

Somebody put some glass work on that vette! Can't tell from this angle, but appears to be early 70's, late sixties? The hideaway headlights buckets have been wiped smooth.
I have a 66 out in the garage, we dropped a cam and headers and a bigger carb on it, but the motor had already been swapped b4 my roommate bought it in the early 70's up in Boston when the USS Lexington went up there for some work. I recently located a pair of 1966 Chevy smallblock engines, and had them brought down from IOWA! Plan is to build the best one and drop it in place of the 1969 350 that is in the vette.
