    Blown Fuses, Cause?

This morning while moving snow my BX died. I could get it to restart but it would barely idle, as if it was being starved, then it would die again. I noticed the fuel pump wasn't "ticking" like it usually does with the key in the "on" position and checked the fuse. Sure enough, it was blown...

    BX2360: Adjustable Side Links

I did what I think you are talking about. Needed more lift height so I replace the LH fixed length lifting rod with an adjustable length leveling assembly same as the RH side. I just looked up the P/N and ordered it from Messicks.

3-Point Hitch  Telescopic Lift Arms Interchangeable?

Does anyone know if the 3pt lift arms on a DK45 (with telescopic ends) will interchange with the standard, non-adjustable lift arms on a DS4510?

No more power outages for me!

Another GREAT use for a sub cut----installing a whole house standby generator! Leveled the site, built the pad, and set the generator. The unit was a tad bit heavy for the little bx but I was able to use the curl function to lift it off the pallet and move it into place---VERY slowly. The...

    Loader  Square Loader Frame

I added my loader a few years after buying my tractor. It was used but appeared to be in good shape, however after a while I noticed the cutting edge on the bucket was wearing unevenly. Suspecting the loader frame may be out of square, I decided to check it. Here's how i did it. Parked the...

    BX Front Axle Leak

Hey folks... anyone else had this problem? I have a pesky leak at the front axle pivot pin. Replaced the o-rings and keepers where the pin penetrates the axle housing but couldn't figure out how to get the old bushings out. The leak is better now but not totally fixed. I mic'd the pin while...

    Weak HST

My '03 BX just doesn't seem to have the same "umphf" that it used to. Engine runs like a top but the trans will stall under less load than when it was new. Is there a relief valve that can be adjusted? Just want to get it tuned up to like-new pulling power.

    Front Axle Pivot Leak

The other day I noticed a leak that appears to be coming from the pivot pin on the front axle of my BX. It's either age or FEL use, but regardless it needs to get fixed. Questions: 1.) I only want to do this once, so I was planning on replacing not only the o-rings but also the bushings...

    Tire Loading Kit

Does anyone know if some sort of kit exists for loading your own tires? I seem to remember something along those lines from a while back but I can't find the thread. I'm looking at loading the rears in my BX. I don't like having to use 4WD all the time with the loader on just to get enough...

    Dropped my MFWD drive shaft

So I'm going along and I suddenly hear a klunking sound coming from underneath the tractor. I stop, get off and look underneath. I find the front drive shaft dangling---this is new... The 1/4" X 1-1/2" roll pin that holds the universal joint to the shaft coming from the HST sheared off. I...

    Training the Next Generation

Pics of me and my helper plowing snow. He's 3-1/2 and already knows how and when to raise/lower the blade. By five he'll be mowing the yard, tilling the garden and moving firewood!

    Subborn Hydraulic Leak

Can anyone recommend something better than teflon tape to seal threads on hydraulic fittings? I can't seem to get the hydraulic block that supplies pressure to the FEL valve to stop leaking.

Horrible experience- thought it was over...

Well, you know what they say... hindsight is 20/20. Lesson Learned #1: I should have bought an aftermarket loader. Lesson Learned #1a: I really should have bought the Kubota loader back when I bought the tractor. Lesson Learned #2: I should NOT have gone to the dealer I went to to have it...

    Anyone with Tree Farming Experience?

Well, my wife and I have finally decided to move forward with starting a hardwood plantation on our property in WNY. I've done the research, bought the seedlings and planned a weekend in late April to hopefully put 250 trees in the ground as a "test". I have an L2250 w/ loader, bushhog, box...
