Now That R14 Tires Have Been Out For A While

So here is my experience with the R14 tires and grass wear (not exactly what workinonit was referring to, but I'll get to that evenutally below) after a couple of weeks with the tractor: So far, after mowing the grass several times, never when soggy wet, I haven't seen any signs of unusual...

Rear Dirt Scoop, Like New, 30"

No problem. I didn't take offense. This forum is probably not the best place to advertise a dirt scoop since a high percentage of members probably have loaders. I have advertised it in other places as well. Hoping someone who doesn't have a loader and needs something to dig and transport dirt...

Rear Dirt Scoop, Like New, 30"

Thanks. I modified it to $400 / OBO. Keep in mind it has never been used, so should function like new, perhaps with a little lubrication of the pivot points. Also, MD sales tax is 6%, so unless you're a farmer using it "for traditional agricultural purposes", $583 becomes $618.

Rear Dirt Scoop, Like New, 30"

County Line brand. 3-point hitch, reversible. Never used, like new condition except for a few small rust spots (may be additional rust on bottom; haven't looked). Not compatible with John Deere iMatch, don’t know about other types of quick hitches. Bucket itself is 30” wide x 30” deep x 11”...

Now That R14 Tires Have Been Out For A While

Interesting. Does that affect the life of the tires at all, and by implication the tire warranty, whatever that is?

Now That R14 Tires Have Been Out For A While

I went from Turf tires on my old Kubota B2910 to R14s on my new LX3310. Someone above said tractors have no suspension. I knew that, but it became painfully obvious with the LX3310 and R14s. The big turf tires on the B2910 were about the same size (both diameter and width), but the rear tires...

FitRite Top and Tilt on MX6000 - My Experience

Looks like you have dual tilt cylinders. Just out of curiosity, why? I had assumed that a single tilt cylinder was sufficient.

FitRite Top and Tilt on MX6000 - My Experience

I have just installed a Fit-Rite top-n-tilt kit on my new Kubota LX3310. I keep a JD iMatch quick hitch always installed. I just noticed the bleed down of the tilt cylinder when the tractor is not in use - about an inch overnight. I'm guessing the bleed down will be faster when operating with a...

Land Pride STB1072 Snow Blade Question

Is that the same thing as a "cushion valve"? Land Pride's literature says they have a cushion valve as an option.

Land Pride STB1072 Snow Blade Question

Thanks for the advice, Carl. I have a 60" Woods box grader that should work fine for counterweight. I have used that in the past for snow removal. It was far from the ideal snow removal implement for my taste, but should help with cleanup, and perhaps for clearing the parking area near the...

Land Pride STB1072 Snow Blade Question

So do you tend to use it at less than a full angle because of that? Also, do you have the steel or poly wear edge? I'm leaning toward steel since I expect to also use it to do light grading where I think a steel edge would be more appropriate. But I'm also concerned about potential damage to my...
