Yes, definitely seems safer from damage. I’m wondering how it may change the leverage of the machine. I have seen this set up on a small Kubota, but not many others.

I have a 3cyl 4000su with 14.9-28 Ags in the rear. I have the opportunity to pickup nearly new 18.4-16.1 turf tires and rims on the cheap. I have basically retired this tractor to flail mowing about 10 acres of grass and the turfs would be nice. I believe these rims/tires were from an Ford LCG...

Bought our place about a year ago. We have about 700' of gravel drive and maybe about 5,000sf of gravel parking between the house and barn. From the looks of it, neither has been maintained in years, maybe decades. This past winter, the parking area was mostly mud. My question is, if I want to...
