I’ve seen another method with steel pipe and a sledge hammer. That’s basically how the guy I hired did mine, except he had this cool hydraulic rig. Much less effort.

I was going to say that I’m at 6620’ and run in high all the time. Then I realize you are a couple hours north of me at 8,000’+. That’s definitely a big difference. Hope you’re ready for the snow. Looks like your area might get the worst of it. Good luck!

Man... 20 mins of watching you build a pallet with wheels. I have to agree that pictures would have been sufficient on this one. I personally would have built the base with double-stacked overlapping lumber—no idea what this method is called but it definitely creates a stronger foundation.
