    I have a plastic hinge that is badly cracked. I see a new one is $70 and still plastic I said to myself, this is not too hard to fix but it will not hold up. Why don’t you add a splint to the outside with .078 steel. Just Riviet it in place with 3/16 over size head and you will have it . I did just that in less than an hour. Take a look and be inspired.
