Post your Branson at work. Picture thread

I was trying to get to a pile of gravel and found a (very) soft spot after some recent rain. Good thing I installed that winch on the front last year! It pulled me out no problem.

    Hydraulic Fluid Choices

The Shell Rotella HD is awful in colder temps and was basically unusable in MN winters. I swtiched to full synthetic Lucas "Universal Hydraulic Fluid" and it has been outstanding so far. Here's the Lucas fluid at a great price: Lucas Oil 10100 Lucas Universal Hydraulic Fluid | Summit Racing...

What have you done to your Branson today?

Actually, I got the tractor (very) stuck in mud and used every ounce of that 12k to get unstuck. Also, it was a very reasonable price from HF.

What have you done to your Branson today?

I'm using the tractor battery / alternator and it seems to work just fine.

What have you done to your Branson today?

I installed a 12k lb winch. I got a universal fit mounting tray and cut it to fit, had to modify the front brush guard a bit, add a few brackets, and also had to switch the fairlead out to a low profile version so the loader arm could clear, but it now fits perfectly with no issues. I already...

    Backhoe valves leaking

My backhoe controls had a leak from the back of the valves. I unmounted the valve body and found an o-ring that was clearly blown out. Easy fix.

    Replacement backhoe teeth?

I happened to see these in the shed so I took some comparison pics. The Titan tooth is on the left, Branson on the right.

Need favor from Branson 15 series owners

That looks like "slop" in the hydraulic cylinder mount/hinge points to me. You can even see it moving in your video.

    Replacement backhoe teeth?

I replaced mine with these. Had to order 2 sets but that gives me a couple extra on hand. https://www.palletforks.com/tractors/3-point/backhoes-and-accessories/backhoe-bucket-3-piece-replacement-tooth-kit/122918.html

    Hydraulic filters

Either of these should work in place of the large hydraulic filter TA00025525B. However as mentioned above, I would stick with the OEM filter if at all possible. I used the WIX filter in a pinch last year for a while and it seemed to work just fine. WIX 51202 Baldwin BT372-10 Donaldson P569383...

    Rotella vs. Delvac

If you live in a cold climate, I had huge issues with "Rotella HD" freezing up during the winter. I switched to a full synthetic Lucas product during this last winter and it worked very well. Here's my thread if you're interested: Low temperature hydraulic fluid?

    Rear Counter Weight

For the most part the traction is OK, but could definitely be better. Before next winter I plan to fill the tires, which should help. I also looked at chains but had no idea they were so expensive for large tires. The only reason I have an 8ft pusher is that I got a very good deal from an...

    Rear Counter Weight

Here are some real world (northern) results. The rear box blade is about 500lbs and sand bags are about 1000lbs, for 1500lbs total. The setup has worked very well all winter and it has not felt front-heavy at all, even with a large 8ft pusher full of snow.

Here are more that should fit, from another thread. https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/threads/branson-oil-filter-cross-reference.63164/page-2#post-6386977
