If you haven't figured out yet the lift system does not use Hydraulic Fluid but Gear oil it is old old school but works. You will probably have to flush it a coupe of times to get all the sludge out of it.

Just noted the oil filler location that is like the 201 ford engine like LD1 noted there should be numbers stamped in the block and casting numbers on the rear axle tubes that can be used to help identify
