Yes, I pulled the radiator but i left the oil cooler and AC condenser? attached. I purchased the maintenance CD when I bought the tractor. The manual or one of the writeup's says to remove the engine i think. I can't remember. I just supported the front of the tractor on the 2 spindles for the...
Just for reference i broke the glass door on one of my Gators probably 7 years ago. The glass door alone was $850 plus a new door seal about $50. $900 dollars because of a rock from the mower. All the glass ended up on the ground so the shop vac took care of that.
Remember when you were first married? You enjoyed walking behind your wife because of the excellent view and you could let your mind wander off. Now you can't wait to walk in front. She's like an oversized load on the interstate. To slow because of the bad hip and pain full knees. Ah those were...
Just to add my 2 cent's. I have a 4320 cab/2006 model. This has to be 7/8 years ago at least. When the parking brake cable broke I went John Deere/ Land Pro and ordered a new cable. What came in was the upgrade kit. $42 dollars sticks in my mind. It's all a rod connection now, no more cable...
Here is a few pictures of how I store my wood. It got split last spring and put directly into my building. When the heating season starts I load it into my Gator and take it down to the house. If it is really cold I will use 2 loads a week. This has been a very mild winter with just the last 10...
On the log marker, my wife got it for me as a Christmas gift. I don't go to the wood pile without. I mark maybe 5 or 6 sticks, do the cutting, then take a break by marking some more. I use the orange florescent upside down paint. It lasts a long time but I still buy it by the case. My biggest...
Here are a few pictures of my wood pile. It is basically all dead ash. Its been on the landing since last spring/summer. It was full of mud but it is starting to look fairly clean now. I will mark it and cut it in place. I left clearance between the logs when I skidded them up there. After that...
I might have shown this before. I purchased this log marker. It didn't have the size I wanted so I made my own wheel and I added a long handle. It marks at about 21.5 inches. I have probably had it for at least 10 years. Before that it was like everybody else, to long and then to short.
I know I am a little late on this but here is how I did it. My 1.0 dia. water line was leaking some where. The water pump would cycle on and off, not that often but enough that I knew I had a leak. The line was approx. 150 ft. long and it was the water line to my building.
I borrowed a tool from...
I have a neighbor that used to work at the Jamestown plant. He always stressed the quality aspect of his job. He did the final grind on the camshafts. This will probably be news to him. They built the over the road truck engines there.
I missed your post earlier in the week. In fact I just sent out repair details to another person this week. Let me put some of the details together, it might take a couple of days. Send me your contact information in a private message.
Hey Mr. Epic Contributor, it was TIG welded about 10 years ago and it hasn't leaked since. The suction tube was removed, cleaned, prepped and welded and reinstalled. TaDa ! Do I need to explain everything?
If it is leaking when you shut down the tractor it could be a suction leak. That is when the tractor is running and the pump is rotating it draws fluid from the transmission reservoir plus some air which could be your problem with the fluid. My 4320 had a suction leak on the large steel line...
