    Snow Attachments Rear Blade Rubber

I did this 3 years ago but have only had the opportunity to use once. It seemed to work ok, far less gravel disturbed than before. It does require a block of wood underneath when parking to avoid compressing the mat.

Snow "Soft" edge for snow removal?

I had to wait almost 3 years but finally got the chance to try the rear blade with a piece of TSC stall mat attached. It definitely moves far less gravel, though time will tell how long it lasts. But then again, I’ve got enough left over for many more pieces.

    Implement Dollies

Scrap lumber and a few casters made a useful FEL dolly. It is great now being able to move it around inside the garage. I also have a HF dolly under my 350lb ballast box.

Anyone have the Titan Ballast Box?

I bought the Titan recently and really like it. (Sale at $219, free shipping). Tool sleeves and hitch mounting are extra bonus.

    Broken BX hood tab.

Sigh, broken hood tab. I was removing the engine cover today on BX2660 for oil, hydraulic, and radiator fluids. Hopefully great glue will work, then will on to wood jig, zip ties, duct tape.

Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Pictures of your snow weapons

I just added a piece of stall mat to rear blade for snow work; time will tell if this helps preserve my 1/3 mile gravel road.

BX2660 - what is this part?

I found this piece of metal on my driveway today after driving over it with my BX. Is it from my Kubota? Thanks for the help. Further inspection, one end is clearly broken. Plus there is NO dirt or grease on it.

    BX2660 and rear chain installation

First time for me installing chains on the rear wheels. Bought a pair from tirechains.com. I laid the chains out carefully on the garage floor behind the Bota and then rolled it backwards to the middle of the chains. I attempted to then wrap the wheel with the chain, eventually got it done but...

    FEL lever - shortened.

I cut 5 inches off of the FEL lever today; now much easier to get in or out from the right side. BX2660. Easy steps: twist off the knob. remove bolt holding plastic housing. remove plastic housing and rubber boot. remove two nuts attaching lever. take lever to workbench vise for a clean cut...

tiller - King Kutter or Land Pride

For a BX2660. I've got a quote from my local Kubota dealer for a Land Pride 42", rtr0542, slip clutch, $1750. Also, a local landscaper sells King Kutters, 48", MODEL: TG-48-XB, slip clutch, for $1500. I like the idea of buying from my dealer. I was not impressed with the phone call experience...

    Smoothing a very bumpy yard

I mow about 2 acres with my new BX2660, 54" MMM. Over the past couple of years I've had a lot of work done around the house and many large trucks have driven around the yard. In particular I permanently closed a very large pool last summer. The ride on the Bota is bone rattling in places. I...

    Unknown tool - help identify

This probably has nothing to do with Kubota, but you guys have been very helpful with my new tractor purchase, and seem to have ALL the answers. I found this tool in my garage and have no idea what it is. One end has 4 wheels has spin independentlly and appear to have cutters on them.

Hydraulic connect - difficult on FEL reconnect

BX2660. Easily removed the FEL today, and then could NOT re-connect two of the four hydraulic quick connects. (middle two, red and blue, larger hoses). I spent at least 30 minutes, couldn't get them connected. White and yellow female connected ok to the blue and red male. Something is not...

    BX2660 - 4WD active, not sure.

How can I tell if 4WD is active? With the lever forward into 4WD, the rear wheels spun while the rear blade was lowered too far and digging deep into the soil. It appeared as if the front wheels were not engaged. The BX behaved the same when I moved the lever to the rear to disengage 4WD. 20...
