Exactly what I need. Aliexpress here I come.
The plug is male and I need a female socket.
A 12mm open wrench fits snug, but Im not a fan of using them on very hard to remove items, even less of a fan of adjustable. (even metric adjustable ones LOL)
Cheers for all the suggestions guys
thank you
Hi Guys, I'm in Canada, and looking for a 12mm pipe plug/drain plug socket for the 4 drain plugs on the T25 front axle.
Im not a fan of using open ended crescent wrenches on hard to remove plugs, inevitably they get gauled up
Looking everywhere I cant find a 12mm. I find 10mm and lots of...
OK, so it appears we are all fixed up now.
Seems the ois spatter and leakage yesterday was still leftover oil in the turbo intake from last week's issue. However, the dealer made a modification per the instruction of McCormick to convert the venting to the old school road vent tube, instead...
Fired it up this morning after 3 days of a heater under the hood (blankets & tarps) and block heater plugged in. It was warm under there for 3 days.
But...still getting oil spitting out of the pipe from the turbo to the intake. Blue smoke under load when I first set off to the dealership...
Well, today its finally back up to -3C, may hit zero degrees later this morning.
So, I've put a portable heater under the hood, and covered the engine in blankets & a tarp to trap the heat. (keeping the heater way from blankets and plastic etc)
ill leave that on all day, and tonight ill plug...
Well, we had a load of snow yesterday late in the day but too late to clear it last night. Then last night /this morning it was -33C without the windchill, - 40c (-40F)with the windchill.
So I got the McCormick X4.3 out to blow the snow we got yesterday (I left it plugged in overnight in the...
Dealer found the sprocket on the end of the pickup shaft had lost a set-bolt and was floating back and forth on the shaft.
Correct Grade 8 shear bolt installed instead of the grade 5
Baler is back home and we'll try her again Friday
Thanks for the replies guys.
I did bale reed canary grass last year although no where near as thick as this year. I'm getting twice the yield of the previous year.
Ill check over the pickup cam bearings etc I did have one replaced at the start of last year.
Have to pick up some new L9 shear bolts tomorrow, but im still prepelxed as to why the "original" Grade 5 Never sheared sooner. It was a grade 5, 1/4 x 1 1/2 bolt. the one thats supposed to be in there is a 5/16x1 1/4 Grade L9 (what ever that is).
any ideas ?
Hi Guys, my Gehl 2580 Round Baler ( Older baler) started breaking shear bolts today, the bolt is the shear for the pickup head.
First time it sheared because I clogged the intake on the right side, ie I over fed a large clump of hay and the right side auger jammed -- My fault, but it wasn't...
You definitely need to go back again to Lowes with your Saw and try again. Be calm, be polite and demand to see the manager if need be. Do not leave until you get your money back or the correct saw.
You're not the criminal, so you need to stand your ground and get what you deserve. You...
-Plow it first
-Then till it (with the clutch adjusted properly) if you dont have a set of discs.
Only time ive used my 7ft tiller instead of disc's is when I was re claiming a field over run by swamp grass. Even after plowing the discs just didnt make any impact on it. for "normal" fields...
I filled my diesel farm tank in the fall for .96 cents a litre (1550 litre tank). I called 2 weeks ago to check on current prices and it was 1.67 a litre for Dyed Diesel. So glad I filled it in the fall ( I dont use mach in the winter).
on top of that , Hay seed (109 a bag now 190 a bag) and...
Never used a post hole digger yet. I rented a post pounder, me and my helper could drive about 100 posts a day. Fast and easy to do. Cost me about $160 CAD a day to rent it. Im fortunate that I have very few rocks here, mostly clay. I think I hit 2 rocks out of about 300 posts pounded.
