I r realize that it depends on the tractor brand and FEL, but how much HP might I need to pick up 2000 lbs. with FEL pallet forks?:confused:

I have a JD 3120 and may want to move up to a tractor that can handle 1 ton loads with FEL forks. This unit has- loaded tires 300CX FEL front plow with angle and tilt 6' Frontier finish mower (3 pt) 100 hours I-match on 3 pt hitch Any opinions and thoughts appreciated.:)

I have a JD 3120 and I need to move pallets of wood pellets. Each pallet weighs 1 ton. According to a friend who also has a 3120, his FEL with JD forks will not pick up 1 ton. I have only used my tractor for fel work, plowing and mowing and have no idea if the 3 pt hitch is capable of picking up...

I have moved and no longer can use this JD - Frontier (Woods) mower due to the side hills on the new property. I could really now use a med. to HD brush hog to clear some more acreage. Can any one give me some idea of what to ask for this 6' finish mower with about 60 hrs of use? Thanks.:confused:
