Thanks for the reply. I actually did consider this unit. However, the mower is much smaller at 35” vs 44” and the price is several thousand dollars greater.

    Rotary cutter and bad vibration

Have you checked to see if a chunk of one of the blades is missing? I was using a 7 ft Brown mower a few months ago and hit something hard as you describe. It broke the blade in two (old blade needed replacing anyway) and it made a horrendous noise until I shut it down.

    Limb ninja

I spent some time back at the dealer yesterday and I have a better understanding of the PTO driven oil pump. Being a novice, I did not realize that I would need to have additional lines regardless. I was under the impression that the current flow to my FEL via third function would drive the...

He indicated short intervals of flow is not the problem. It’s the continuous flow demands from running the rotary mower for extended lengths of time that would overheat the hydraulic pump and potentially cause failure. I have to admit I don’t understand all of this but I do know I’d rather...

    Limb ninja

I haven’t seen any recent comments or discussion regarding this specific product. Does anyone have any real world experience with it? Also, my Kubota hydraulics are rated at 11gpm. The limb ninja recommends 8.5-15gpm. My Kubota dealer recommended going ahead with the PTO pump kit to avoid any...

    M7060 hicups

I have an M7060 and it does have draft control. Perhaps the OP can check the positioning of his and, hopefully, that will solve the problem.

Hydraulic lines for steering cylinder question

Ford 4600 SU. Recently, I had to have my steering cylinders repacked. I labeled the connections but somehow that got undone. My question is Which line from the steering cylinder gets connected to which port on the steering column? For instance, there is an upper and a lower port on the steering...

    My new M7060 (pics)

Really like that grill guard! Do you have a link to or name of the manufacturer? I had a grill guard fabricated for my Ford 4600 SU (I will try to attach a picture of that). After working the new tractor for just a little while, I realized I was very apprehensive about how unprotected the...

Took possession yesterday...and put the new tractor to good use right away. Logged about 4+ hours and very happy to have the grapple function!

Kioti NX 5510 vs Kubota M5660SU/M60 series

Incredulously, I could not find a single on-line comparison of these two makes/models. As such, I felt like it may be helpful for another person looking at a 50-60 hp tractor if they happen to come across this post. Understandably, these two models are not directly similar. However, it is...
