I have a Predator 212cc 6.5hp on my dump from seat collection system I purchased used 7 years ago. I was concerned so I bought a backup new with a coupon on sale for $56.00 to keep on the shelf. The original looked tired but I use Mobil 1 and check every time I use it. The Predator has...
I agree.
This comparison is not exactly apples / apples but I went from a Kubota B1700 with R4's NOT loaded to an LX1026 with R14's loaded. For a short time the LX1026 tires were not loaded (3days). In those few days I found the LX1026 to leave more turf damage than the B1700 had with the...
No we could not find a tread pattern that was simaler to say a Nokia Nordman 7. something close to this tread pattern is what i have always had and would swear by. But if the tread just looks like a summer tire I would decline. I went with them originaly due to there use in rally racing on rear...
Nokian does have very different tread pattern for heavier vehicles. A heavier one i looked at for a friend did not look like it would be good in the snow. That was for a heavy van about 5 years ago.
I went from
89 Dodge w150 4wd 15years 243k short bed best truck I ever had.
2004 Tundra double cab 4wd beutiful smoother than a caddie but way too thirsty, the only truck I ever traded at 37k
2007 Tacoma access cab 2wd, nervous in winter?? put Nokian Hakkapeliitta Tires and 290#s of steel plate...
I will give my short amount of experience with R14's. I had a Kubota B1700 for over 20 years with r4's that were not good in the snow, so when I moved into an LX2610 I went with the standard size (not larger) R14's. Now I only have 29 hours on them but I find they are much better in the snow...
The line that is leaking if I remember correctly on my B1700, had issues for many and was replaced with a better made one. The leak is on the metal tube as it enters the larger metal banjo section.
Six ply makes me comfortable for loader work and snow removal. I no longer have a backhoe so super heavy weight is not a concern but turf tires were only 4 ply and I am treating myself to a grapple so i wanted at least 6 ply like my last tractor had. Most reviews say the r14's do well in snow...
Thank you
That is a big load off of my mind. Going from R-4's to R-14's for traction, I did not want to give up durability.
Thank you again. Now if the loader ever comes in for the tractor I will be thrilled.
I'm waiting on an LX2610 Rops with the smaller r14's. I'm trying to clarify how many ply the rear tires are. All the specs I can find say 6 but I would like to varify with someone that has received an LX2610 with the smaller r14's from the dealer. If this has already been stated i have not been...
I do appreciate all the replies. I just hate to see someone get taken IF they are not fully informed.
I hope the machine treats them well. I did my part being honest with the person I sold it to.
Thank you
