Any recommendations for a cordless trimmer ?

Moms almost 80 and still insists on doing her own yard work. She has a very nice Stihl assist start but even so, not enough arm strength. Thought about a corded, but the amount of cord she would need defeats that. So I'm shopping for a cordless. Alot out there. Any recommendations ?

I too have a question about 'blown in insulation'

Have plans to add some of this stuff to a portion of my attic. I understand the importance of NOT cover up my soffit vents to keep the air flow. Problem is a low attic ceiling (4') and getting back to the vent area to install those styrofoam vent block things would be difficult. A buddy at...

    Gun safe lighting,,,,whats ya got

Got a new gun safe coming and didn't really care for what they had in lighting. Lights themselves wasn't bad, just didn't like the 'motion' only activation. Sometimes I don't move that fast. :ashamed: Picked up 2 6ft clear rope lights to play with till it shows up and looks like they may do...

    VOM 101

We need a good VOM teach thread. Truly wish I had the skills to put my thoughts to text like others, but guess I'd just confuse more then help. Maybe start with non-harmful single dry cells like D's or C's and work up to what we use in our tractors, 12V crank batts. So many of our non-crank...

    Ground clamps.

Always been kind of old school with ground clamps. Just your standard spring loaded clamp. Didn't hesitate a second to tack weld it to my work if it didn't make contact on the first try. Even tried the magnet style. No thanks, went back to my clamp. Till now. One of the shops I work at got...

How much fuel per month do you burn in your tractor ?

Seems maybe we have a large variance amongst users. Myself; Summer months, about 30-35 gallons. Winter, maybe 10. EDIT; ALL TRACTORS COMBINED....

Looking for my first pocket gun.

Never 'really' carried and recently received my CCP. My home guns are a little large to be stuffing down my pants regardless of the available room so I've been shopping. And for some weird reason, for a gun in my front pants pocket, I want a revolver. I'm leaning towards this one...

    Electrical test meters,,,got one ?

If not, why not ? A lot of threads on 'no starts/no cranks/no charge' and others, would really benefit if the OP 'had/and or' knew how to use a electrical test meter. And for this tractor stuff, you don't need a fancy one. 10 bucks max will do ya. If ya don't know how to use one, just ask...
