Need tool to put tubing on nipple

I solved the problem. Well until I need the tool again. I junked the old sprayer and got a new one. It was a cheap one and the pump cost about as much as the new one.

I saw that tool, it is about the size of a 6 ton bottle jack and heavy enough to sit on the work bench, But I don't remember what it was called. cost was about $300-$400. It puts a commercial crimp on the hose and fitting. It also puts a commercial crimp in the wallet.

I wonder if you could use an elastrator tool. I haven't seen or used one for years, but seems like it might be able to open the end of a tube.

I use a hand torch on my 1/2 inch flex tubing, works great. Just be careful how you heat it. Heat gun also works fine if you have a plug.
