That sure is a pretty welding table!

That thought pops into my head every time it shows up in a photo!!!

Thanks BackRoad

My friend Bob gave me a couple of pipe caps to make mini welding tables. One for him one for me. I will need to go back later to pick up the 3/4" plate for the bases. This was a full load for my little Ford Ranger.

I need..."Potentially" Hazardous Work Location...stitched on the front of all my work clothes.

Not sure why that sign really makes me laugh

It's the ultimate disclaimer!

I did the math, the bigger cap is pushing 500 lbs, but I didn't account for the bolt pattern holes.

LOL. Thanks Kyle. That was actually on my list of things to Google.

I can use my platform scale but it’s a bit of a hassle even with the forklift. I kinda value my fingers and toes.

What would the big one weigh that is still at my friend’s yard?

Not certain but let’s call it 48” diameter x 2” thick. Steel.

I ordered a few pieces of steel today just to have on hand for projects.

This is what $911 worth of steel looks like ( tax and delivery included)

And this is how old farmers handle 20 foot lengths by themselves.....

I bought an 8' drop of 4x4 sq tube, 1/4" wall, IIRC and it was over $200 last month. I was rather stunned
