On a a funny note; their SWAT team is called TNT. Almost as good as the Fatal Accident Reconstruction Team
AKA, FART. Ours was just known as the Fatal Accident Team, so we were the FAT guys.

Maybe, but they also have a 3.5 MOA accuracy threshold for accuracy in their rifles so….

The article says they negotiated him to give up. A much better outcome.

We had a Domestic situation where he had beaten his wife and was shooting his gun off into the night. He had the wife and three children inside. While we set up a perimeter and called out our SOU our dispatcher talked to him. She reasoned with him and he surrendered. It was a good outcome to what could have been a disaster and tradgedy.
