Bronze bushings reminds me of my first small square bailer I bought used, a NH 66 Hayliner. It was old, not much paint left but it ran pretty good on sisal so long as you took your time. Had it out in the field one afternoon and one of the tires and wheel fell off. Seems as though the bronze sleeve bearing in the wheel gave out and the wheel and bailer parted company. Put it back on and used a nail for a cotter pin and limped it home and turned a new bronze bush for the wheel and packed it with grease. Was that way when I sold it. Did the opposite side as well...lol

All right this baler giving me headaches again. John Deere 224 wire tie. Anybody see any problems with the knotters?

Wire in your photos appears dry. Have you added any oil to the coils of wire in the boxes? With needles in home position where is the point of twister hook located? Point of twister hook in your photo below looks to far towards flywheel side of the baler. Initially point of twister hook should be directly under wire gripper pivot bolt. I can't determine what you're indicating in your last 4 photos. Does twister shaft have a groove or is it smooth?
