    Hunting Cabin heating

Our cabin has standard HVAC that provides A/C in summer and heat (when not present during fall/winter. When I'm there in the fall and winter, I use a propane heater that really keeps the place comfortable. It is ventless, so very efficient and comfortable.

where do you store your tractor - inside or out?

My TYM T233 just got a new "indoor" home after four years under the back porch and under tarp. Think she's happy with the new digs!

    Where does your tractor sleep?

Mine has been stored under the elevated back porch with a tarp for the last 4 years, but her new home is almost ready. Just needs the doors and a final coat of paint.

    Where does your tractor sleep?

Sadly, for the last three years it's been under a tarp parked under the back porch. But within a few weeks, she'll have home fit for a queen! This is what her new digs looked like Wednesday 8/6!

    TroyBilt Junior Carb Issues

I have a (I think) 1990 Troybilt Junior that belonged to my Father and I've had it 20 years. I've rebuilt the carb about 4 times over the last 10 years; as it was getting long in the tooth, I replaced it last fall and test ran it. Ran well. Drained and winterized it. This spring, it started...

    Share your Canning Photos

I've had venison butchered/frozen for years. This year, I asked my wife for a canner and jars for my birthday, and after taking a small buck this fall, decided to can it. Results, as they say, are in the can! Delicious!!

Here in central Virginia I like to hunt deer, and an occasional bear. Seen lots on the trail cam, but have only seen/taken one deer since bow season started October 1st.

    Bow Hunters

View of my turnip and rye food plot this past Saturday (opening day in VA) with crossbow. I have used a compound bow in past, but at 60, I've gotten to the point I don't like to stand up in a tree stand and draw back. Was way to hot(87), but had to be there!

Thinking of building a log home in Georgia

I had a log home constructed in 2009 for my land. It was from Old Virginia Log Homes. Had a local builder ready the foundation. OVLH came and erected the entire home in two days. Then the local builder did all the electrical, plumbing, HVAC and finish work over a couple months. Nice end...

Food plotting with L3200 4x4, which implements?

I have really bad clay soils. For the last few years, I've had a local farmer deliver a truck load of composted chicken litter. Soil is now much improved. I have a cultivator to break up the soil, and have an old 4' tiller to make it smooth. Hand broadcast seeds, and have a chain link mat to...

    Critters captured on camera

I have two food plots with trail cams. Was up this weekend to check things out and had lots of deer, bear and turkey making themselves at home. Small sample attached.

    Deer Stands

Son and I built this 4X6 (with a 2' "porch") on the ground and then pulled up into position. Finished with guidewires and ground anchors. Overlooks a 75'X100' food plot. Took two nice bucks during blackpowder (rut season) from it. Seats two but it's a little tight.

How was your 2012 whitetale hunt? Show picts!

Nice! Here in Va, I have a small 30 acre place with trails, creeks and food plots. Between my son and I we kille five this fall. Probably won't hunt December, when its cold and deer are tight due to dogs. I managed this 10 pt at dusk in early November during the rut!

Glow Plugs not working on T233

This weekend, was unable to get the glow plugs to preheat the engine. As most know, on the T233 you turn the key counterclockwise briefly to start the plugs...when warm the indicator light goes out. Previous weekend they were intermittently working. Even though it was 70 degrees out, it didn't...

Built me a new Deer Blind

Son and I built this two man stand this spring, 4' X 6' inside with a 2' "porch". Put it on 12' 4X4 "legs". Still need to put in chairs (bass boat seats on swivel posts) and carpet to reduce noise.

    Broke Drive Shaft Universal?

While cultivating with my T233 this past weekend, I experienced a sudden "thump thump thump"...turned the engine off and jumped off; found what I think is the drive shaft laying on the ground. There appears to be two shafts, one coming from engine and one from transmission; the transmission...

    New TM233 Owner

I'm the happy new owner of a TM233 with FEL and 4X4! I've had a Bolens G152 for the last four years, but it's 4X2 and no FEL. In comparison, the 233 seems like a dream! Love the power steering and the cup holder! Whats not to like! I have 30 acres in Virginia that I deer hunt and use the...
