I had a 08 f450 8ft bed drw. A super long truck but turned way tighter than my old 2011 f150 8ft bed or current ram 2500 with a 6.5ft bed. Was nice for parking lots and sharp intersections but made the most difference backing a trailer up.

Ram 2500 10k truck weight and 16k trailer. Says to use a weight distribution hitch above 12k or something like that. You can order a f250 or Chevy 2500 with a 10k weight but they usually aren’t on the lot.

Sometime I go from 22mpg empty to 9mpg loaded. And from what I can tell when cruising level ground the loads wind resistance matters as much (maybe) more that the load weight.

Back home I paid $1200 for 4 mounted and liquid filled. Tires and labor so I was kinda shocked.

I have a 2ton and a 6ton machine. Always amazed what the 2tonner is capable of. A 3 tonner can do almost anything unless you need to lift larger boulders or something.

Its usually a slightly bent rod or two from this type of thing in diesels. They usually still run but with low power and smoke because that cylinder or two don’t combust properly because they’re isn’t enough compression anymore.

I think you ought to run the tractor hard for an hour or two, park it with a piece of cardboard under the leaking spot, let sit for 24hours then see what you have and upload a picture. After that leave it running for a hour with a new piece of cardboard and see what you get and compare.

From what I can tell almost no OEM actually makes their own seats, if that helps in any way.

It’d be pretty funny if they eventually went down to 50k.

I used to do work for an Ace hardware that had a clutched tractor. Put 3 clutches in it over 2 years. They’d put a new guy in and he’d burn the clutch up in one day! After the third one they replaced it with a hst machine which I suggested after the 1st clutch job. lol.

Drilling is funny. Yesterday it took 500gallons to drill 163ft. Today 2 houses down I drilled 168ft and only used 150gallons.
