Grasshopper 725 runs great for about 20-30 minutes then just dies. It then has to sit until it cools t o restart. Had a new coil put it and still continues. During the time it sits it does not have spark. Any ideas?

    Help with MF 1528 Decals

Hello all. I have a 1528 Hydro. It was left in the sun before being in my possession and the decals are pretty much shot. I purchased what decals Mf/AGCO still provides, but some are no longer available. Could someone take a pic of the decals with a ruler or something next to it? I would...

    Front wheel bent?

Ok excuse my ignorance, but I know most tractors with a FEL have some toe in with the front wheels to offset weight or heavy loads. However, looking at my front end, it looks like the left hand side(drivers side) is leaning way more than the right. Is this normal? How does one go about fixing...

    MF1528 rear lift height

Looking at the rear now, I see there are a couple different holes or combinations of holes on vertical lift arms, and the horizontal arms. I will just have to play with it some. It did how ever throw my 900lb+ cement ballast up in the air like it was nothing, so thats a plus. Thanks.

    MF1528 rear lift height

Went to brush hog for the first time with the tractor (2005 MF1528) with King Kutter 6' rotary cutter. It seems as if the 1528 barely has any lift height. It only picked it up a few inches, where every other tractor I had lifted it to the sky. I store it on 4x4s and it barely took it off of...

    MF1528 Glow plugs

Hello all, Have a new to me 2005 1528. When I go to start, it takes a few minutes to crank and then start. I had a JD4300 in which the glow plug light would come on when the key was turned to the start position. Reading the manual, it states the glow plugs are activated at the start position...

Bobcat 873 Boggs down and dies

The pick-up tube broke off into the tank. It was an aftermarket tube. It has the screen filter on the end of it. Also, used a cheap AMAZON fuel lift pump, so also thinking it could not be keeping correct pressure?

Bobcat 873 Boggs down and dies

Hello all. Bought a 2001 Bobcat 873 machine. Had some issues when bought but I thought I fixed it all. I recently put a new fuel pick up tube, fuel filter and lift pump. Things work great under low rpm but once you give it some throttle it wants to bog down and stutter and even die at times. Is...

    Hydraulic fluid recommendations

I have a new to me 2008 MF1528 HST with 1520 FEL. I want to do a complete fluid change. However, there are no close dealers near my area. What would be the best hydraulic fluid for my machine? It will take about 8+ gallons of fluid. I do not know the history of the machine, so no idea what...

I took the protective cover off the metal hydraulic lines on the loader and it looks as if one of the lines is completely rusted out. I cannot find the parts diagram for the loader. Can I use compression fitting and splice into the old line? Also, I know I need at least 2-3 new hoses as well...

New to me MF 1528... Info, parts, thoughts...

Hey all, just came home with a 2008 MF1528. Tractor seems to be in pretty good condition, just been left outside in the sun too long and has a few hydraulic line leaks. So I think I did alright, as it has 1800 hours, and only gave 5k for it. I have owned JD 4300 before this, so having a MF is...

    John Deere 755 loader question

Thanks. I kind of figured it would be too small and need some modifications. Just not many 755/855 around my area for sale. There are many that have no loader, and seen the 40 loader for sale too. Thought one could make one from both. Ohwell, the search continues.

    John Deere 755 loader question

Hey all. Looking to buy a JD 755/855. I think either would suffice for my needs. However, I cannot locate one where they dont want you to rob a bank for it. However, I did find a JD 40 loader. Would a 40 loader fit a 755? What is the difference between the 40, 52 or 70 loaders?

JD 420 Loader bucket cylinder drops

Hey all, Going to change out the Hydraulic and Transmission fluid shortly and figure I would maybe try and rebuild the bucket cylinders. The bucket tends to drop as soon as it has a load it in, or not, but faster with load. It is the bucket's curl that drops, not the lift. However, I dont...

Thanks for the replies. After posting I checked the tire pressure and it was a bit low. After I aired them up, the “canter” wasn’t as noticeable. I will play with it some more this week as time allows.. was just nervous as I lifted a heavy load the other day. Thanks
