After Watching This Video Should Americans Let Green Tractors Sit On Lots Unpurchased?

Be concerned about more than JD? I wasn't aware that is all I am concerned about. ;) More ad hominem? I'd have to disagree, as she brought up some documented facts about JD that are a bit troubling. I'd say that makes henovideo relevant, and shows she's not clueless. Why have you only...

Really? I totally disagree, why go ad hominem on her? Did you watch the video? So what, like that justifies it because "everyone else is doing it?"

    The complaint compartment.

We've always had good experiences with GM. The newer Suburban had an issue with the AC from the factory, leaky rear evaporator core, never blew cold as the Duramax. They looked at it, said they added refrigerant, and I told them then if is low it is either not filled properly, or has a leak...

They don't need service? Then why do their dealerships have Service Departments? Any pricing yet on the new E tractors?

Being that electric motors have unbelievable torque and instant horsepower, it's intriguing as far as wanting to see one in action. But, I think the whole e-vehicle thing is a bankrupt idea in the final analysis.

Just saw my first $80,000 lawnmower

I saw a zero-turn and iirc it had a 104" cut. It would cut a football field in 10 minutes. 30K iirc. But...why? One would have to have some accounts that would justify dedicating that much money to a unit that does one thing.

Can this hydraulic cylinder be rewelded or do I need to replace?

I weld, but I'm not sure how much it would cost to have someone weld it. Do you have any nearby farmers/neighbors who you can ask to fix it, or show you how? Or perhaps look into what the part costs to replace, then look at what one wants to fix it, then decide. Just guessing, but say maybe...

What does "locally grown" mean to you?

Nothing like a homegrown tomato. The tomatoe's at the Farmer's Market next town over are better, but they're still green house grown by the Amish. We grow our own, of course, but to resort to a few from the Market until ours are mature enough to harvest and eat.

    Tire Ballasts, Weights &c...

Thanks for the good info. Apparently our dealer wants $400 for the fill, and I'll have to ask what % the methanol is. If you did yours a few years ago, then his price seems fair. The only other thing I am considering is weights. If a tire leaks out the fluid, then their goes the money, but...
