I don't have a recent price on Stucchi although they're in the same range. About 1000 per pair and the more attachments, the more coupler plates you need

If you have money to blow one of these may help fix that problem.

IMO, keeping the attachments hoses looped together works best. Helps to keep dirt out too. Weather changes don't seem to build pressure in the loop regardless of cylinder position.
I generally prefer Ariat. Recently got a pair of Sureway 6" laceups and I like the way they fit and about $50 cheaper.
This time of year, I'll often wear my Skechers composite toe sneakers
I have calculated out our cost per bale adding in all costs (tillage, seed, fertilizer, chemicals, depreciation, taxes and time). Looks like I'm definitely in the minority.
One of the guys told me, "just make your rounds smaller to increase profits".
How many of you know exactly how much it costs to produce one bale of hay?
Quite a few of the locals love to spit out costs, while never telling of profits. What really is a "fair" price per unit?
I can make money at $5 for small squares (21 pack), $40 for 4x4 rounds and $70 for large squares...
just an FYI, some of the organic milks have really long shelf life's in the fridge. Ones that are ultra heat treated can sit in the cupboard before the refrigerator.
I have a 2 egg omelet with a little cheese and spinach, fruit and yogurt, tea not coffee and juice. Whole wheat is a just say no item for me. I think time spent on a good breakfast does make the day better. Too many of us are always in a hurry to go nowhere.
FWIW, there are some that believe an...
Noise is a fairly common complaint, the second biggest probably being "my tractor won't". Then they want to tell you why, at idle (or barely above) their tractor doesn't perform well.
I have a customer that runs his tractors at a maximum of 1900 rpms (e-pto indicator). Will only make a 4x4 round...

Wasn't trying to be nitpicky, sorry if it came across that way. In your simplified calculation for pto speed I think you may have neglected the effects of ground speed and terrain. When doing light mowing on basically flat ground (5MPH and 1600 engine rpm) a bushhog wouldn't notice the...
Without the ribbons, you can't sell the offspring at a premium. Without the ribbon, how do you know you're buying the bestest dog or b**ch available to advance the pedigree? You need more and better everything to attain the top level and get better ribbons. ;)
Wow, we received a notice from Geico that they won't insure Ford Transits anymore. Was told Friday that without a notice of renewal, new coverage would be tough (of course, mo money) Wonder what's really behind the ineligible vehicle lists? Just profit margins or ?
Level 2 and Level 3 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are available along the New York State Thruway.
Level 2 stations are free to use and located at nine Commuter Park and Ride Lots off of the Thruway’s mainline system. It takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge.

So, you go to the lumber yard, pick out what you want, stack it on a cart then go figure out how to pay for it. And that's a good thing? What's next, you show up on Tuesdays to help unload the truck, put the merchandise on the shelves ? After that you get a credit for x trips to the store to...
Why? I'm sure some of you do. I have 0 desire to "clothes shop", shoe shop, w/e when I need nuts and bolts, paint or a 2x4.
The local Tractor Supply has more BS like clothes than anything else. Tractor parts are less than one aisle. Fence chargers, ha
That’s what I thought I was looking at. An 8” bucket - ok, a 30” isn’t too heavy to pick by hand? Actually really nice that you can carry everything with (y).
Our crew definitely likes their stalls, we give them 24 hour access. Too often find all 4 in one stall. One of the better choices the wife made for you?
Sorry, joking at your expense. I'm not allowed to hunt, no one at my house will eat it. I do like to fish, often carry a rod in my saddle scabbard to hit some remote spots. Best trip ever, flew out of Fairbanks (business trip) for a weekend at King Salmon, Alaska. Worst trip, charter out of Cape...
Not sure what's going on up there. Your whole world seems to be screwier than ours.

I have but not for treating EPM.
Any chance of getting just a treatment consult with the old vet? Yes, my vet can make almost triple his money by staying in the office and treating small animals. Luckily for me, I can do "drive in" or farm call and he's a sucker for breathing fresh outside air :)
Yes, there are two sides, from the heart and from a sense of economics. Sometimes it’s a tough pill but is that $100 dollar widget worth it for something that you originally bought for $250?.
I’ve seen/know people that buy saddles left and right because they try after they buy or so and so said...
I have a buddy that turned 80 last year and his wife bought him a 2 year old to train for her to ride :giggle: sometimes life is just about perspective
Different take on costs. My farrier charges $30 for a trim, $70/pair to hot shoe, $10 for “sleepy time” dose.
EPM is not necessarily a death sentence, kinda depends on your vet and how they choose to help treat it med wise. Marquis is “the best” ~1200 for 30 doses, Protazil is “second tier”...
We have 4 pleasure horses that we travel with to different places/states to explore/ride. Have met some really great people and gained some new friends along the way. I don’t think the hobby is killing the budget. I probably spend less on the horses, fuel, camping fees, etc in a year than a lot...
What kind of horse? Where are you going to keep it? How much hay do you now produce ? What are you going to do with its waste? How many horses do you have room for? Do you have a long term care plan that includes your horse? 😋
Probably not much different than the level of service I have received at Vanguard. I am provided quarterly discussions on my investment mix and asked if that still meets my comfort level for risk. They have provided help and answers for my long term (age 100) retirement goals. They have a pretty...

One of the guys I grew up with bought ~50 acres ~ 3 years ago. First thing he did was go around posting no trespassing signs. 2 weeks ago, the adjoining 59-acre lot was sold and those people promptly put up no trespassing signs. My guy is livid because "how dare they put up no trespassing signs...
IMO, that would be a waste of money at this time. Fixing the water/drainage issues should be your first priority. in the first picture, there appears to be little to no drainage away from the graveled area.

My answer was in two parts, hence the separation. I was not suggesting what he should do. I was just letting him know there are different geo grid options available.
I would not advocate for a 4” or less concrete drive.
My area there is no one that does tar and chip.

I wish, locally gravel is $65/yd and concrete is at $220/yd. One of the drivers told me last week they’re talking 300 by summer. 80 lb bags are 5.50 each x 45 = 247.50
To the OP, there are a few geo grid products out there. Some come in rolls for large format jobs
Blowers today, string trimmers and mowers soon to follow.

Won’t really matter with the push’s to electric lawn and garden stuff. Ca did and now Md wants to follow their stupid. Not sure how long this will last, seems like someone will challenge the local/state over their wisdom.

Way of the world. Today’s custom cabinets are what used to be builder grade (plywood and paint). People buy their furniture at Bob’s so they can have it by next weekend, not custom built and wait 6+ months. Even most houses lack character and style, every 2nd or 3rd house on a street is exactly...
I used to think these were great. I launched a rock with mine that took out a cab lower window. I was lucky, my neighbor launched a t-post through the door of his bobcat nicking his right shoulder. I now run a flail mower instead.
Yes, it does look like it was made as one. Hard to imagine why they did it but there it is. Did you try googling the numbers on the valve? Get an idea of what it looks like by itself without the ugly welds. I’d take it in to a good repair shop and let them take a look. From the picture, the weld...
That is close to what I was on to. Steel cable/wire rope is lighter than a chain but they tend to get frayed and nasty to handle. Once frayed, they should be derated also. Upside must be the purchase price.
The towing business is moving away from cable in favor of synthetic rope, maybe that’s...
I use a piezo butane torch for small soldering jobs and lighting the stove. Works well and the blazer brand I got ten years ago still works but they’re pricey. The copycat is more reasonably priced. They’re refillable and much easier to wield around especially for smaller hands...
 So after the time when everyone was highly encouraged to drop their toolbox and get a degree? Now there’s so much “educational debt” the IN crowd wants us to pay their loans for them…

The I-66 corridor is pretty full. Going north on I-81 from I-64 stinks. I-95/I-495/I-395 in No. Va is the absolute pits. Every time I think, “they gotta be running out of buyers”, every time I’m wrong 😥
Check the details of their offer, see how they get service dispatched. Everybody is cinchy on service now. They only pay for tow to nearest repair facility (Walmart, Pep Boys, etc. not necessarily dealership). Customer would pay out of pocket for a different facility (unless closer distance)...
The one for my 3500 was a tad over 12k. I cheated and found a wrecked ambulance and bought the whole package for 3500. I kept the air ride stuff for my truck and parted out the rest. Upgraded to an ARB compressor and can now run a 1/2” impact gun.
(y) Penn Mutual dropped us (quit the whole state) I then had a heck of a time finding a new insurer because I was now considered high risk from being dropped
Redlined? The no parking zones or???
If they only had 2 companies and both were busy….Simple economics also, AAA is a low tier club. Let’s say AAA pays $20 for a flat, CCM pays $30 for a flat and cash pays $40. AAA pays $30 for hook and 1.50 per mile, CCM pays $40 for hook and 1.75 per mile, cash is $100 for hook and 3.00 per mile...
Did you know AAA is a motor club that mostly contracts out the work? With 5 or 6 trucks, motor clubs can keep the trucks busy, but you have to wait on the check. If you have one or two trucks you might not want to fool with their paperwork, delays and lowball payments.
Your son must have broken...
On the ctl vs skid steer issue, one thing to consider is maintenance costs. Tracks, sprockets, idlers and bogies vs tires and chains.

(y) Let’s not forget the biggie of having livestock. No matter how you feel or where you are, they need to be fed and watered and mucked and……
To the OP, How much hay are you buying and where are you storing it?
That works just fine for one or two. IMO, I wouldn’t want to get caught selling any of it that way though.
Internet sales and roadside stands are keeping a few of the locals viable.
Yep, the office we use has 6 vets right now. 3 of them do large animal and unfortunately the big money is in small animals. They can earn about double a day in the office vs field so I’ve been told. We can trailer in to their office if really needed.
Don’t forget truck and another trailer. For the small family farm, where do you get a beef slain, skinned, butchered and wrapped? Closest USDA licensed facility to me is ~ 2hour drive.
insurance poor is a dilemma we all can face. Car insurance, health insurance, property insurance, life insurance. Sometimes reality kicks in and you can’t afford it all. 250,000 a year for 4 years would get you a usable facility.
Again, you guys crack me up 🤣 🤣 . This guy was encouraged by comments on TBN to tear down this engine without testing or experience and now he’s having issues and everyone acts like they have amnesia.
It is actually rather sad and happens quite often...
4wd on or off? Differential lock on or off? Only one wheel spins under power in 2 wd with the transaxle unlocked.

They are rebuildable if you’re so inclined. New quality cells are easily found and a screwdriver, volt meter, Dremel tool and soldering iron are all the tools needed. With a little research you could even upgrade
Part is ~ $30.00 if you’re kinda flexible they aren’t horrible to change. Double check your fuses before swapping ;) Wouldn’t be surprised if dealer quoted $900+ in labor
Often see them at the pump with 5 gallon to 55 gallon cans in their truck. One guy I’ve seen has a 250 gallon IBC tote on his. Some also use the off-road pump for their older farm trucks.

With display, I have the m12 setup which I really like.
Endoscopes can be had cheap and use a phone, tablet, etc for a display
Either of these would use clip-on accessories to get different view paths.
The last one I’ve seen at a tool show but no real experience with it...
Brine solution, here it’s 2 pounds of rock salt per gallon of water (~25 f). Other places use salt and beet juice (~5F). Some places are using calcium magnesium acetate instead of salt (-17F) supposed to be more eco friendly.
Not sure what the high dollar, earth friendly western states do 😋
When I had one I used milk crates to store chains and binders, tote bins on top for smaller stuff

An easement by itself, would not because road maintenance agreements are separate documents. A shared driveway, normally will have a road maintenance agreement as it’s a requirement from the banks and mortgage issuers. They want to protect their collateral.
In the video, that’s a clean little unit. No coolant leaks anywhere? Where I would start, take radiator cap off and add enough coolant to see the level of it. Start the engine and let it get up to temp (will take a while with cap off). You should be able to see the coolant flowing through the...
I have a DK5310se, hydro, cab, loaded rears and Kioti 3rd function so far, very happy. Rear counterweight is needed for heavy lifting.
Mods so far; led lights, side lights, beacon, grille guard (broken anvil metalworks) and front tow/tie-down.

Hmm, one other thing that’s been mentioned. The rad fan. On some other diesels, the somewhat generic bimetal switch setting has been the culprit of heating issues, worth a shot.

Lots of BS stories out there. Truck registered in ? And trailer registered in Mississippi? Do you have a cdl? Is this for personal or business use?
Follow your registered state rules, be happy, don’t worry about others nonsense.
Quite a few want to confuse FMCSA rules with farm equipment (under 10,000 lbs). Straps or chains doesn’t really matter if they’re not used right.
