I bought a demo Lenovo machine at Costco a few years ago. First thing i did was to reinstall windows, windows only, not the install from Lenovo, just the OS. I needed to have the number off of the Windows sticker, but it's worth not having all the bloatware, call back to company stuff on the...

I'm guessing that term, 'running leaner' has to do with combustion and not how much gas is being used. So adding oil should make it run richer and possibly cooler. I've run 50:1 on my stihl since the 80's and it's still running well. I did tune the carb when i first acquired it though. WOT...

Locked in the Car and Unable to get Out - Food for Thought

Hmm, now i'm going have to check my subaru. My pickup is manual locks and window cranks, so that's a no brainer. I'd have assumed you just would use the inside door handle to open/unlock the car door.

Back in the day, my grandpa and dad built a wooden canopy to sit in the bed of his pickup. Crowds would gather around to marvel. :)

I'd probably run outside to see that too. (y) I think i mentioned, one of my co-workers came home one evening and their covered patio was blown up. Neighbor said one of the military jets doing an airshow at the airport had buzzed out to the prairie and turned the jet straight up, right over...

Sorry, no pic, but neighbor stopped by with a trailer so i could load up the power trac to take to his place and spread some soil they had delivered. They commented on how cute it was. 😁 They also compared it to a Kubota that had spread the prior load. The PT was much faster, easier on...

You see square cut around here, possibly because fir and pine isn't as hard as hardwoods. It cut very fast, but don't touch your tip to the ground. But you can touch it up using a regular file.

My eyesight is a bit poor too, i agree the round cut might be more forgiving but i don't remember square cut, (full chisel) being too bad to sharpen in the field. I'd retouch back at the shop though, for either.

Gov't mandates gas can flame arrestors.

Were they being forced to make a compliant can that was going to fail? That's like saying car manufacturer being forced to add braking system to vehicle, and making the cheapest pos braking system for the vehicle, to make more profit.

That's true too. It's become a catch all term. Of concern for me is when one uses people and their biases, that provide the initial framework for smart systems. An example, I have a camera that recognizes if a vehicle, pet, person etc is in the frame. All of the initial information was...

    Clarkson’s Farm

Clarkson was just cashing in on the "hate Meghan" fad, and is an Adam Henry. But i have to say, Top Gear was hilarious when he was on it, one of the few show i'd actually laugh out loud when watching it. I'd sit in a Pub with him and buy the first round, but i'd still tell him he's an AH.

Do you just dump the wood in, or arrange it in the totes. My neighbor has 15 of the tote metal frames, sans plastic container and he stacks the wood in them. Fortunately his tractor is big enough to left them when full, and it's probably mostly Doug fir.

I've used ethanoled gas in my chainsaw since it became available, never had a problem with it in the saw. I live in a very humid marine climate that doesn't get very cold in the winter, so that might affect how the gas acts in the saw.
