Using Filled tires with a BH92 Backhoe

I just purchased a BH92 for my L4701. In the operators manual it states " While BH92 backhoe is installed on the tractor, liquid ballast in the rear tires should be removed". That's a problem as I have my tires filled. I really don't want to remove the beat juice from the tires. There is no...

I over inflated a tire that is filled with Rim Guard in it.

No, jacked up, tires were off the ground.
  5. All In A Days Work

I over inflated a tire that is filled with Rim Guard in it.

I wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the suggestions and comments on the tire problem. It sure was safer and in the end, an all-around better solution.
  6. All In A Days Work

I over inflated a tire that is filled with Rim Guard in it.

This the first time I have let air out, matter of fact this the first time I added air, and wouldn't you know it I added to much. 😵‍💫
  7. All In A Days Work

I over inflated a tire that is filled with Rim Guard in it.

And another thing if I had taken them off and adjusted the air, I would still have the problem of having too much Rim Guard next time I wanted to adjust the air.
  8. All In A Days Work

I over inflated a tire that is filled with Rim Guard in it.

I drained the Rim Guard today and Boy that took a while. Sorry @gstrom99 no video. On the second tire it wasn't bad, but the first one didn't work as planned. I finely got them drained enough that I could let air out, 10 gallons of Rim Guard later. It took up most of the afternoon. I did...

I over inflated a tire that is filled with Rim Guard in it.

I agree with everything but the cherry picker, now maybe if you had a super high quility one. Know one I know owns one of the cool ones I've seen on line. I'm not overly impressed with the stability of the one I have. If all I needed to do was lift the tire that would be one thing but...

  12. All In A Days Work

I over inflated a tire that is filled with Rim Guard in it.

I have a couple of jack posts, that I can put in place just for this type of thing. I'm not concerned with the beam breaking. And with the winch setup like a hoist, I'm not concerned with the weight very much...... That being said, the consensus is that the tires are over filled with Rim...

My lathe is kind of a mess but here it is.
  15. All In A Days Work

I over inflated a tire that is filled with Rim Guard in it.

Do you think I should jack the back of the tractor up put the stem at the top and remove the core and just drain the rim guard out? I could probably arrange some sort of collecting device/pan so it doesn't make such a mess.
  16. All In A Days Work

I over inflated a tire that is filled with Rim Guard in it.

That's what I thought, but nope I had the valve stem at the top and the rear of the tractor was jacked up. The dealer told me that at 75% fill it was above the stem. My manual shows it below the stem. So, in my mind the tires are over filled with rim guard.
  17. All In A Days Work

I over inflated a tire that is filled with Rim Guard in it.

I had not checked the tire pressure in my tires for couple years, it's not used all that much. I noticed they were bulging some the other day and decided to check the pressure, neither rear tire would indicate air pressure. I checked the gauge on front tire it works. I started airing up the...

What water bottle do you have?

I second the Hydro Flask we currently have three of them. And one of them is Kubota Orange! I prefer the older ones with the smaller lids, the newest one has a largest opening, nice for ice cube but not as nice to drink out of.

I'm still learning how to TIG weld, so I decided to weld something productive. Some look okay but others not so good. It sure would have been faster with the MIG. I had a hard time on the right side of the angle. I had a hard time welding the wench plate to the 2" square...

3-Point Hitch  Top Link Mounting Holes

I need a little schooling here. I don't understand the mechanics behind the three locations for the top link? For instance the manual says when using a Moldboard plow for soft soil use the top link and for Heavy use the bottom link. I just can't figure out what the difference would be.
