Does anyone out there with the standard bucket on an LA 402 loader know the thickness of the steel used in the construction? Anyone with a caliper or micrometer? I assume it to be something less than 1/8 inch?

I'm speaking of the LA 402 loader, but I see them on other buckets also. Does anyone find the level indicator (L shaped bracket welded to the bucket) to be of any value at all in determining bucket position? Are there any better methods available adaptable to the bucket on this loader?
